Holiday Inn Express Saint-Nazaire, an IHG Hotel

Great location overlooking submarine pen with small shopping mall across the road. Probably fortunate we opted for hotel parking underground since we arrived mid afternoon in peak summer season with a funfair in full swing next door, so public parking outside looking full. Be aware underground parking access very very tight even for a standard Corolla. Modern, clean, lift, and extremely helpful staff. Surprisingly breakfast included had a good and wide choice. Excellent pretty restaurant near by, must book, which Reception kindly made for us, thank you.

Room, facilities, staff, location. It was a great place for an overnight stop. Directly opposite the Submarine pen which was the reason I booked this hotel. Breakfast was good (included within the room price). Parking available and the location was within a few minutes of the beach and places to eat, plus salsa dancing on the beachfront whist we were there was amazing. Certainly opened our eyes to this region and we'd be looking to return.

Central,location with good parking options locally (hotel staff were very good at advising where to park for free). Very comfortable and clean room with everything you need provided. What was memorable was the breakfast… really lovely start to the day, with so much choice. Near shops and the sea front - great walk around the bay exploring this great area.There was a microwave available in the lobby area - a thoughtful touch.

Chosen due to it's easy drive from St. Malo and it's proximity to the WW2 submarine pens, the hotel didn't disappoint, being right opposite. Reception and check-in was excellent and we managed to park outside the hotel in a free parking zone. Room was clean and comfortable as would be expected from an IHG brand hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Need to head towards the sea front for life and restaurants - about 10 minutes easy walk.

Great place! right across the street from the German U-boat bunker base used during WW2. I loved the hotel, the staff were really great and very accommodating. They actually had eggs for breakfast which is very unusual in France. Though they put way too much milk in the scrambled eggs, it was like a soup at times, they need to be trained on how to make it correctly. Great place would stay again if I had to.

The hotel is very nice inside, the room are big enough to enjoy them. The breakfast was amazing, very good.

The area is not the best, there are some streets not very safe if you are alone... In my room, i would appreciate to have a mini bar, since it was summer - just to store some cold water.

The staff were wonderful! So friendly and so helpful. The hotel was very clean and well looked after.

It was situated across from the maritime museum which negated any view. Getting out of the underground parking lot was a bit of a nightmare as the exit was so narrow it made it difficult to negotiate the turn without scraping your car.

Staff is incredible!! Especially Cecile. From before we arrived until the last minter were there, we felt like our family was their focus. Whatever we needed, they made happen. Best service ever! Felt like we left family. Great location, ultra clean, and GREAT service. We will be back. Thanks to all employees!!

The hotel is very well placed to see the places of interest in the town in particular the submarine bays and museums therein. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Getting out of the parking space was difficult for a large car as the exit is quite an acute angle.

Breakfast not great. Poor selection. We were there about 8.30 and already had no sausage’s or anything savoury left. Sofa-bed very uneven, would have slept better if mattress would have been on the floor.
