The location was good, close to the Gard du Nord station and the metro station, so the connection is very good, a few hundred meters away there are decent bars and cafes, as well as food stores, also nearby in the Montmartre region. The hotel is easy to find, nice staff, clean room.

The area around the hotel may seem unsafe to some travelers, but we had no problems. The hotel room is super small, it was difficult to find a place to put your things, so it might be a problem for those who staying longer with more things. The windows isolate the street noises well, but you could still hear the whirring of large fans from the roof of a nearby building. Also, upon arrival at the hotel, a deposit of 100 Euros is taken (in cash or by card), regardless of whether the accommodation has been paid or not, which is returned upon check-out. The choice of food for breakfast is quite limited, strangely there were no vegetables.

This is a gem of a hotel. Room was small but perfectly formed with an excellent bathroom. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. As many other visitors have mentioned, the area outside the hotel is not salubrious but it’s a really great location just across the road from a metro station and an easy ten minute walk to Gare du Nord. Also less than ten mins to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. Plus I never felt unsafe as a woman on my own in the area but I am a seasoned traveller who is comfortable in most scenarios.

Absolutely nothing. It was an excellent hotel in a great location.

Location of the hotel was very convenient to the train line and a nice hike to Montmartre. It is very hilly in the area, so the walk is uphill to Montmartre but an easy walk and well worth it. Easy commute to the tourist areas of Paris and well worth the money saved by not staying near the Eiffel Tower. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable.

Getting off the train, we were concerned about the area. Very dirty and homeless people living under the train line. Nobody bothered us (we were traveling with kids), and we did feel safe after settling into the room and venturing out.

The room was very nice and clean, although it felt a little cramped up in the rafters on the top floor. The bed and pillows were SUPER comfortable - best night's sleep! Good shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Feriel - such a lovely person who looked after us so well. Located within walking distance to Gare du Nord which was convenient for us.

Bumped our heads a couple of times on the sloped ceiling/bulkhead on one side of the room, as the room was on the top floor with the rafters.

Great hotel, staff really friendly and couldn’t do more for you. Room was comfortable and clean. Good location close to the metro. Enjoyed the hotel. Just a shame there was no food other than breakfast available.

The lights in the room were not bright enough, especially getting ready to go out. Had to have the bathroom light on and door open for better light, used my phone torch one night to get ready. The The Safety of the area especially around the metro. Had been warned about pick pockets. Did not feel safe at the entrance but was ok once on the metro.

I got a free update when I arrived the hotel at midnight in the Paris rain, the room looks exactly the same as photo shows. The location is very easy to find, also very convenient to stay since it’s close to 2 metros. Hot water provided 24 hours, totally saved me from cold rainy weather. Very fine decoration, cozy bed. The checked out time is at noon, the reception providing luggage keeping service, as well as fulfilling all sorts of needs such as borrowing umbrellas (it was amazing to watching them serving endless number of umbrellas as if the have infinite stock). All staffs are just very nice and kind to talk to. I rarely write comment but for this one, I’m willing to just sit at the lobby and write one before I leave. And the served me another coffee to keep me warm, awwwww that’s so sweet 🫶

The room was warm, comfortable, bed was super comfortable and the shower was great too. Wonderful staff, helpful and patient with my limited French! Gorgeous art deco style hotel. Perfect location, and a very short walk to the Sacré Coeur. Only 10 mins walk from Gare Du Nord and we even walked to the Eiffel Tower which took an hour and half, through the gorgeous streets of Paris. Loved it. Would definitely stay again!

The only thing I’d change would be a kettle and some mugs in the room so we could make a coffee. However it encouraged us to go out and explore. Really wasn’t a problem!

The staff were super. Anything I asked for, they provided the help I needed with a smile. Friel (I hope I spelled your name correctly) was very helpful in explaining places to go and how to get to certain tourist spots. The experience wad far more amazing because of the brilliant attentive staff. The bedroom was lovely. They use Rituals soaps which I love so that was a bonus. The location was brilliant as it's right next to a train station and a good few food places.

Other feedback: Quality of coffee and tea needs to improve The room needed dusting under the bed. I didnt try the breakfast but I will next time

I think this is a brilliant hotel in a great location and hope to stay here every time I come to Paris. Comfy bed, great bathroom, lovely communal area, friendly staff. The rooms are small but every bit of space is used wisely. It’s in a very good location for public transport plus for Montmartre which is my favourite part of Paris.

The area outside the hotel is not salubrious but I felt perfectly safe. However on a weekend night, there is a lot of street noise despite quite good soundproofing. If you’re not out for a night on the town yourself the noise may bother you.

Every part of this hotel was perfect! I was there just overnight but from the beginning to end the staff made me feel welcome and cozy. Breakfast is provided, with the nice general offerings: fresh juices, coffees, teas, croissants, eggs, granola, etc. As for the room, a fresh bottle of water is there for you, a very warm and comforting bed, and all over clean facilities. Would definitely stay again! Also it’s a 10 min walk from Gare du Nord train station, so it’s super convenient

Only thing is maybe the view from the room is just the old building across the street but not a big deal for a short stay.
