Excellent location within easy walking distance of stations and shops.

A kettle, tea and coffee in the rooms would have been a welcome addition.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was excellent for our needs since we like to walk, The Madeleine metro was nearby at one end and Lazare Metro at the other when we needed it.. The boulangerie a block away was our perfect place for breakfast every morning. Would come back again... Also it is one of the few hotels which had twin beds and since I was with my daughter it was perfect.

The location of the hotel was amazing - we were able to walk to many places. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The staff are amazing; friendly and helpful. The hotel has charming authentic French features which was perfect for my first trip to France. The breakfast was plentiful.

Although the mattress was comfortable, the two pieces kept separating creating a great divide 😉

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years for three reasons; location, staff, and value. The facility itself is dated, the rooms are a little dingy and small, but the convenience of the location, the friendliness of the staff, and the cost of the rooms for Paris keep us coming back. The staff is always gracious and supremely helpful.

Rooms could use an update and could be a tad bit cleaner, especially the bathrooms.

Good hotel with friendly staff who are happy to help. Excellent location for exploring the city.

It’s a shame breakfast isn’t included. We chose not to take it at the hotel as we felt it was very expensive. We found we could have the same for half the price in a local tea room/ bakery.

The breakfast was not included and rather pricey, I ended up paying 4 euros for a cup of tea to treat a sour throat. The room wasn't equipped with a kettel or really anything other than the neccesities.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel de L’Arcade for the whole week in mid September. I love the hotel for quite a few good reasons: 1)Good location in the heart of the city, close to everywhere you WANT to go, within walking distance or by Metro. 2)Nice staff! The staff is very nice, warm, friendly and helpful, and I will always remember these nice staff members: Mizanur, the lady concierge (who helped me a lot by providing honey and some other things to ease my sore throat and harsh voice), the local Parisien young man. 3) Reasonable price and good service for a hotel with a long long history and with a very nice and moderate decoration in French style. The hotel provides the facilities a good hotel should have. 4)The hotel is very cozy and homey, with very nice breakfast to start your day off in the nice hotel café. I might still book the hotel when I come back to Paris for a visit again in the near future.

I’ve got a couple of suggestions for the hotel: 1) some of the facilities need updating; 2) a kettle provided would be much better.

Comfy beds and nice bathroom. Close to everything. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Very pretty hotel.
