Hôtel De La Perdrix Rouge

This is a fabulous hotel and I will stay here again when I come to Paris. All of the staff were kind, thoughtful and patient. The hotel was very clean, including and especially the newly refurbished room and bathroom (shower only). Mine was a perfect room for one person. It was a bit small for 2, but would have worked out. The location was PERFECT! A quiet residential neighborhood with shops (including Monoprix around the corner), restaurants, and pubs. Everyone in the neighborhood was very nice and welcoming. The extra was the Metro stop in front of the hotel. On line #11, it did not take more than 30 minutes (and 1 transfer) to get anywhere I wanted to go. There are two exits from the Metro at "Jourdain." One is only steps and there are plenty. The other has some steps but also an escalator. Keep an eye out for the Sortie signs (one shows escalator the other only stairs). Bon voyage!!

The flexibility of having breakfast "on demand" was great, but occasionally the food ran out before breakfast-time was over. In all cases the staff were careful to offer whatever they could!

Despite being an old building, the rooms are nicely refurbished and the bathrooms are nice and modern. The shower was great. The rooms are quite small, but have everything you need, including a safe and a fridge. It's not in central Paris but a bit outside, but very close to the metro - literally 30 seconds walk away. Therefore we had no problem getting around the city. The staff was also very friendly.

Nothing in particular, but be aware that the elevator is the little brother of any small elevator you've met. If you have big bags, be prepared to take the stairs 😂

The room was cleaned daily. Property very close to underground, about 10 seconds… Amazing shops around. Friendly receptionists: all of them.

We missed a fan in the room, we shoud ask (there were 30-40 degrees daily)

It was clean in general and every day we had clean towels. The staff was friendly and kind. The location was perfect since the neigbourhood had everything you might need + a metro station right in front of the hotel made our transportation super easy. Definitely I will have this hotel in mind for a possible future trip in Paris again.

The elevator was really small, it could barely fit one person with their luggage. The breakfast doesn't include a big variety of things, but its optional so it was not a problem.

It's a simple, but cute little hotel, lots of plants lining the entrance, and directly greeted by someone at the small reception desk. We were able to leave our luggage in a room as we arrived before checkin time. The hotel is a bit outside of the centre, but right next to a metro station amd close to the beautiful Parc des Buttes Chaumont.

Rooms are not sound proof, but the area was quite calm for Paris.

Good location, even if you are by car - 5 minutes walk to public parking is not a problem. But yes, public parking lots are very expensive... The room was kept clean, cleaned every day, our things were removed and folded with care! As the locals said, you live in the heart of Paris. I agree with them. Very romantic, the warmest memories!

The description of the order said that all additional fees are included, but I still had to pay some other fee. I told the mister that everything is already paid for, but his English is not perfect and I still did not understand why I should pay more. In the shower, you can add a sliding door so that water does not fall on the floor. Access to sockets by the bed is not convenient.

The amazing kind welcoming staff. I have not seen such good people in hotels in my life. The beds are comfortable and very clean. The bathroom is very clean and newly renovated. We reserved the room without breakfast, but every morning we had our breakfast in the hotel. It was very good👍 The metro station is 30 seconds away. If you buy unlimited metro tickets for the days you stay in Paris, it will really help you roam around without worries.

A delightful find in the cramped, busy city of Paris. I chose this neighbourhood as I was in town for a gig at the nearby La Maroquinerie. I've never stayed at a place I liked in Paris and I'm delighted to say now I have! Rooms are typically small, sure, but they are kitted out with all modern appliances, touches and decor. The beds were super comfy, that firm mattress with soft top (Premier Inn style). I was lucky to be on floor 5 and have a glorious view of the church (though earplugs were needed in the morning for passing emergency vehicles). For 1 person, this really was a perfect place to say. Super clean, comfy, safe and cosy!

The only suggestion I would make is to have vegan options at breakfast. I could have the baguette and fruit but nothing else.

Really clean place and a very comfy bed! Looks like an authentic French hotel, not the generic ikea laced place like it's common nowadays. The staff were the kindest people in the world. Superb location in Belleville neighborhood right next to the metro, with a lovely Café underneath the hotel. In front of the window there's a beautiful Gothic church where Edith Piaf was baptized. Worth mentioning that there were no rats, mice, cockroaches or bedbugs like in the other hotels in the neighborhood. I feel like we hit the jackpot!

It's a great place to stay. Right next to the metro, in an interesting neighborhood with good restaurants and all the facilities you need nearby. The breakfast is buffet style, if you are staying for work it is a convenient way to start your day before getting on the metro. The room was kept very clean, and the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating.

The free Wi-Fi sometimes did not work very well, especially if the hotel was crowded. But this was a relatively minor issue.
