Hotel Bastille

the room is cozy and confortable ( but is better to take your hairdryer from home). The location is amazing: rue de la roquette is a big street full of life, markets, restaurant and everything that you need, the hotel is close to bastille ( the place and most important the underground that takes you basically everywhere). The last but not the list is the host Adam!! he is the best host and a very kind man always with a big smile on His face! thank you so much Adam for every advise and every talk a big hug for you Matilde and claire

Honestly, hotel Bastille was an unexpected surprise for us, for the money we paid, we were expecting something a little less satisfying. It's nothing fancy but it was a pleasant stay, excellent location (1 minute from the metro station, 25 minutes walk to the Notre Dame and the Seine, 30 minutes walk to the Louvre, plus it's located in a full of life centre neighbourhood, so you feel safe walking at night), very comfortable beds, nice bathroom with hot water all the time, warm and bright room (we had the room with city view). Fresh towels and a quick room clean up every 1-2 days. Last but not least, the staff was very friendly and kind, especially Claudio, he was there to help for everything we needed, always with a smile on his face!

There was no mini fridge, this might be a problem during warmer months, no hair dryer so bring your own from home.

Great little hotel just a few seconds walk away from a metro with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby and 20 mins walk from the centre of Paris. Friendly staff, clean rooms, reasonably priced. Would come back.

Yes the street below is busy but it quietened down after 11 and what else do you expect in the centre of Paris? Didn't bother me one bit and I slept fine.

The room is basic bit clean. I had a room towards the yard which was very quiet. The staff were super-friendly. But this is not a hotel for someone that are looking for some "hotel -experience" but it worked for my purpose of the trip. Good - wifi, clean, location is perfect.

There were nothing extra in the room. Not even a do not disturb sign. you got what you must have in a room. A painting on the wall at least.

The location is perfect for discovering Paris - one minute to the "Bastille" metro. Considering the great location and the good price, it is understandable that this is a basic hotel in terms of standard. The breakfast was fine and above all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommendable. Would definitely come again!

Probably about as good as hotels in this price bracket get in the area. It’s modern and very well designed and thought out amenity wise and the rooms are quite large. I’d definitely recommend it. You’ll definitely find less for the same price elsewhere .

Nothing particularly. A ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door would have been helpful.

Fantastic location, small room but for the price and location completely adequate. Very clean every day and lovely convivial staff.

Room window view, although at the back of the building the appearance could be improved by painting or introducing some plants.

The location, super close to the subway station and the area also has good options for food. The place is simple, but comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The street it’s a little bit noisy, but we understand it’s because of the area.

Would use a bit of upgrade , the elevator was not working 2 times during my stay , the stairs are very narrow

The pictures in the add for the hotel looked nothing like the hotel.... not sure if they r even the same place
