Amadeus Hotel

A rather old building with a tiny elevator that will bring you up to 5th floor. Small rooms include a wardrobe, a safe, a table, a fridge, heating devices. The rooms interior is not shining new, but good enough for a comfortanle stay, neat&tidy. I would not recomment you order breakfast in the hotel, not because it's bad (i did not try), rather because there are lots of nice boulangeries around. The hotel is well located with a walking distance to Naction metro station (a big metro hub). If you're fit and strong, a 1-hour stroll along nice streets will take you directly to the city centre.

I was quite happy with this place, considering the price for Paris. The area was quite ok and safe, and some distance away from the worst tourist parts. The area is nice, and the street (Faubourg St. Antoine) towards Bastille is quite lively and local. I mean, this is Paris, so the rooms were small, and so was the bathroom. But staff were nice, and the place was clean. If price stays competitive, I would consider going back to this hotel when I go back to Paris for more work. I did *not* try the breakfast, so I don't know how that is.

As mentioned above, nothing strange for Paris; even elevator was tiny, even for one person. Rooms as expected very small, and very limited sound isolation, so one could hear very well the nice activities in neighboring rooms. But this is standard in Paris for 2-star hotels. All in all, this is an entirely OK place for the price in Paris. I might well be back.

Lovely location, so close to Faubourg Saint Antoine, Nation and Boulevard Diderot. Lots of good eating places very close by, good places to walk to. Room was very clean, and very quiet, considering the location. Lest luggage was no problem when I checked out. Mattress was comfortable; I slept well in room 404. Bathroom was fine, shower very strong and instant.

There was no remote control for the TV; seems the previous people may have taken it...that meant the TV was unusable, but the on plus side meant I had even more reason to go out and enjoy the gorgeous streets and food of the 12eme

The interior is very beautiful. The host is very helpful and kind. There is someone from the staf 24/7 at the reception. We wanted to go out on new years eve and the host was very friendly to tell us where to go. On the last day I broke my arm and the host was very friendly to give me some drinks and calling a taxi for us.

The room is a bit small and a bit noisy.

All team it's great, and i like so much cause they clean in every day the room. They have such big and confortable beds.

So much noise from outside, the room need to be repaint, room it's so small, if you take with you just one backpack it's ok, but if you have more bags with you it's a problem cause the space is so small everywhere. If you want the room just to sleep it's great.

Staff were really kind, welcoming, always ready to help. Hotel regulations about giving the keys before leaving is genius, especially for cleaning. The room was cleaned daily. Location was ideal, near metro stops so we had flexibilty in moving around Paris. Also 15 minutes from Gare de Lyon, which is ideal for train travellers.

The doors of the rooms and bathroom were a bit hard to close. Small elevator but useful. Bathroom ventilation would be nice because it is really close to the bed.

Very friendly staff, all compliments to the gentleman at reception. He was very friendly and greeted us positively every morning. On the first day he helped us organize our day and gave us advice on how to get organised. Definitely a very good contribution to the hotel. Close to the metro.

This hotel was the perfect place from which to explore Paris. Close to transport links in a street just off a main road, it was easy to find. The staff are so helpful and very friendly. Although small this hotel has everything one needs and is very clean. Loved that it was part of the neighbourhood and that we could leave our windows open and enjoy "Paris life".

Everything was new in the room and it was very clean. It was a small room but it had everything. Comfortable bed and pillows.

The rooms are very close to each other and you hear some noise from the other rooms.
