Great location near the beach and an easy walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was very clean with a lovely view over the garden and great choice for our overnight stay. Very friendly helpful lady booked us in and spoke perfect English (a bonus for us with limited french!) and brought us drinks from the bar to enjoy in the garden. The secure car park was very useful and enabled us to have a worry free stay and only a five minute trip to the ferry in the morning.

We couldn’t fault anything with our stay but perhaps tea/coffee making facilities in the room or reception would be an added bonus.

Quick overnight stay before getting a ferry. We arrived late in the evening after their reception was closed. They phoned before closing to check where we were and to advise us to call on arrival and they would meet us. On arrival, we were met by a friendly receptionist. She opened the gates for us to bring the car so it was safe inside. We were leaving early for the ferry so didnt eat breakfast but we were well rested and had lovely hot showers

The atmosphere of the hotel with its occupation in WW2 was a new found emotion in me and Julia. On walking the streets every 10 metres was a photo of a fallen soldier. We visited the Pegasus bridge and then on to see the Mullberry harbour at Arromanche. My regret is we only had one day there, we will return for a week. The hotel under 5 min drive to the ferry at 6am, stress free, excellent.

Very close to beach, short walk to eateries, ferry port 5 min drive. pleasant bar with sea views, nice enclosed sheltered garden to use. Room was on the small side and boxlike, no features to speak of, but comfortable enough for a night or two.

No lift! We were on second floor, lots of stairs for tired arthritic old knees ! Also shower over bath required a climb into the bath, a grab bar to hold while getting in and out would be very helpful. Limited reception cover could be problematic if help were to be needed.

La Villa Andry is a beautiful old building and has its own secure private parking . It has a pretty garden.Our room was very comfortable and clean and had views over the garden and the sea. Although in a quiet location it is very near the beautiful beach and restaurants etc. and is an ideal stopover for the ferry. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

There is no lift and we carried our luggage up to the second floor. Luckily we traveled light.

Highly recommend. The front desk staff were amazing and very friendly. They had everything ready for us when we showed up, gave us a map of the area, and highlighted places to eat. Lots of local restaurants and bakeries to choose from. We had the "Family Room with Sea View" and it was perfect. The room was nice and clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Location on Sword Beach. Old building was beautiful externally, found out Nazi's had taken it over when occupying Normandy. Amazing history. View from room on side of building have us a view of beach.

Excellent location for ferry port, out of hours welcome worked fine and hotel is located in a walled compound which is secure overnight. Good range of items available at breakfast.

Rooms are undergoing a piecemeal refurbishment so it's pot luck as to whether you get a refurbished room or one yet to be upgraded.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we had difficulty with the booking of our apartment in Brest. Breakfast was delicious.

The stairs were steep and difficult to climb with heavy luggage. There were no facilities for making tea and coffee in our room.

For an overnight stay it was great. Seconds walk from the beach and Main Street with shops and restaurants. Secure parking if you need it and handy for the ferry terminal. A bit of WW2 history to it as well. The owners are super friendly.
