ibis budget Nuits Saint Georges

I booked two rooms via booking.com. I never received the booking reference needed to get the keys number from the machine in the entrance of the premises (when arriving late in the evening). Once I got the number (by calling by phone to the telephone number), I was not able to pay with none of my credit cards in the machine. At the end the person doing the shift (who was sleeping, since it was late in the night), opened the door and we were able to do the check in... not a funny experience considering the time (midnight, kids waiting in the car, tired of the trip, etc)..

This is a good base to use if you're visiting the Burgundy region and Beaune. Nuits-St-Georges is a nice small town surrounded by vineyards, with good restaurants and cafés. This hotel had all that we needed for a two-night stay. It's close to the autoroute for easy access and has lots of parking, as well as being close to the town and all amenities.

Everything was as it should be.

It's a budget hotel so you get what you pay for which is of a good standard. We've stayed before because of it's easy access to the autoroute and near a petrol station with good prices for fuel. The breakfast offering is limited and has been reduced in recent times. All perfectly adequate for a one night stop and offers good value for money.

Would have liked more choice for breakfast but in view of cost pressures can quite see why the choice is so limited. Would not let this put us off staying again which we will do.

clean room, good bed, enough parking space for Car + traveltent. We didn't do breakfast (as planned) - but the breakfast room (entrence) was pretty packed with people that were leaving early (8 a.m.)

Late check in with automate - but our bank nor credit card was accepted. In fear of having to sleep in the car, nice French people offered to pay with local bankcard - and we gave them cash. Unbelievable that our cards (accepted everywhere else in France) were not accepted by a 'night-reception-automate'.

Fresh and new look. Clean. Larger than usual for what I know to be an IBIS budget room. Good location just off the autoroute. Exceptionally quiet in the night. Friendly and efficient staffmember.

The location is right obvious from the illuminated blue IBIS sign just off the roundabout but the actual entrace to the carpark took me some repeated loops of the area which hosts another hotel, a carrefour and possibly a carwash among many things. Mind you it was in the dark and rainy and after 8 hours of driving. It is a narrow entrance that opens up to the car park as you drive past the entrance. The actual adress will not take you there in Opel route planner.

Location was very convenient, only 5 minutes from city centre. Parking was ample and not charged separately. Breakfast Buffet had a wide choice of items. The additional bed was helpful even if we were only two - my son & I - to get a comfortable sleep. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a lovely Boulangerie/ Patisserie if one wishes to have a change from the Hotel's Breakfast Menu

Always challenging to find a not to expensive overnight hotel for a family of 6 along the way to the Cote d’Azur. Second time here: perfect location, clean, comfortable beds and good pillow. gas station and bakery right next door- perfect!

The room was as migth be expected and in accordance with pictures. For a budget hotel, the breakfast was good and recommended. The beds were also good. Overall good value for money. There is a field of grass at the back of the hotel where kids can play. Some toys available on site.

perfectly situated to break our journey to and from Provence. Just off autoroute, easy to find, with fuel and restaurants in easy reach.

Nothing not to like when you can see it is an Ibis budget hotel. Rooms are basic, clean, with all facilities to hand. Children loved the family room layout. Beds are comfortable, air conditioned, and we slept well each time,

Location was great, staff were lovely.

Booked 2 rooms, and one was a double with bunk over instead of 3 single beds which we booked, arrived late after reception was closed so couldn’t change, but made do, and rest of stay was all good.
