Everything, especially our hostess, Chantal! The room was wonderfully appointed, and the entire establishment was set up to make you feel right at home. Only a few blocks to walk to the Town Square, and Chantal gave us recommendations for where to have dinner. (She also advised that it is best to make reservations, and that the restaurant would not be open on Wednesday, so that was helpful). Free on-street parking one block away. Breakfast was everything you could possibly want, and prepared fresh at the hour of your choosing.

The Chateaux suite was spacious and wonderfully comfortable. There were lots of small touches that we really enjoyed. The swimming pool is a great space to relax and catch a bit of early afternoon sun. The hammam was also really great to relax in after a strong walk in the Pyrenees. The breakfast was continental with a selection of cheeses and fruit and was taken in a delightful courtyard. We also bought a bottle of the pink champagne that is produced by the owners and it was delicious. The hotel was also a really short walk into central Mirepoix.

This place is the greatest!!! The location is perfect, about a 5 minute 2 block walk into the center of Mirepoix. The hotel is quite small but so clean and nice. The hostess didn't speak any English and we speak no French, but communication was not a problem. Loved the pool and hammam! We had been traveling for a week, so decided to just relax and enjoy this beautiful town and hotel. I will be back if ever in the area again.

Nothing was negative. It was just perfect. It is not air conditioned, but there were 2 fans in the room (which we used) and they kept the room very comfortable.

We were made to feel very welcome by Chantelle. The Hamman and pool are fantastic, and we really enjoyed the breakfasts in a lovely location. It was extremely hot when we were there, so it was a massive relief to discover that our room had air conditioning. It was an excellent few days and we will visit again if we get the opportunity.

Chantal was an exceptional host and we had the most wonderful stay. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the pool and hammam (I was even prepared a face mask) were a fantastic addition. We were even served breakfast late after we slept in on our final day, which was delicious. I could not fault the experience and we will be back!

It’s a gem of a property.. down a road you wouldn’t look twice at... hidden from view a pretty little house with lovely bedrooms .. a Hamman and a pool .. it’s owned by a champagne house so in the fridge bottles of fizz that didn’t cost the earth and a lovely treat after a long drive . We were meant to stay one night but stayed for two ... heart of the village just around the corner and free parking everywhere. Chantal who greeted us couldn’t be more helpful !

Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented on the terrace. We were so well looked after by Chantal who is a great hostess and gave us all the information we needed for our stay in Mirapoix.

There was not anything we didnt like.

A really lovely place, with extremely well appointed accommodation. Very good breakfast.

There could be a booking system for the hammam - I turned it on and went away for the 40 mins while it heated up, only to discover that other guests had gone in by the time I came back! Not a great problem, but a simple booking system would avoid that happening.

The whole property just seemed quintessentially French - lots of detail on decoration. Clean on arrival and rooms cleaned daily.
