We loved the hosts, we felt so safe staying in someone’s home but having our own space. The experience was so authentic! Loved having access to Netflix in English. The bathroom and entire area is huge. You have two separate basins, one smaller and one bigger which worked great for us! The toilet is spacious and toiletries are all supplied. The pink toilet paper is a cute touch! Perfect for us with a car so we could explore the surrounding area! Breakfast was amazing, perfect amount of food. Delicious croissants!
The wooden floors are very loud and creaky, hearing the hosts literally sleeping next door made it hard to fully relax. You could hear every step, especially if you need to go to the toilet at night - you will definitely wake up your partner! The kettle is falling apart internally, definitely needs replacing. If you don’t plan on getting a car, it is a little far from the main towns! In summer it would be difficult without aircon, we were lucky it was the perfect temperature. Otherwise we would’ve had to open the windows and that may have made it a struggle to sleep as there’s a main road just below which is quite loud!

We spent two nights in Sonia’s house. It was perfect for us to rest after a long trip. Sonia was incredibly kind and hospitable. We highly recommend it especially if this is a stopover between trips.
Maybe something to improve is to add a bottle of water in the room as we were not sure if tap water was drinkable.

Sonya, her husband and their 3 pets (2 dogs Snoop and Nemo and the cat Simba) were a very very welcoming and pleasant family. Breakfast, bed, everything was impeccable. Cannot complain.

Location within Champagne region was perfect, local WakeBoard Park served fab fresh food with Champagne. Large room and bathroom. Breakfast was fresh with friendly, service.
Room smelt of fish, which in a non air conditioned room was quite strong. Room was directly on high street so with windows open and shutters ajar, very loud.
