Château de Berne

Beautiful property in the middle of a vineyard in Provence. Charming with an old castle, wine cellar. Michelin start restaurant with really great food. Cool bar with board games. Staff was really nice especially the manager of the swimming pool. Cooking class with a professional kitchen

Equipment in the pool could be nicer (cheap umbrellas, not comfy beds etc). Property could be more taken care of: no more animals in the farm, no chickens, a lot of the plants dying. We were kicked out of the spa at 6.50pm because it was closing in a not very delicate way

The grounds of the hotel were the most beautiful place we have ever been. All the staff worked hard to make sure the stay was perfect. Dinner at the chef's table for Jardin De Berne was incredible. The cooking class with the Sous chef was a once in a lifetime experience. The spa and all the pools were ultimate relaxation.

The bisto was disappointing from a food quality, ambiance and service prospective. And the drinks /food were expensive at the pool (but delicious).

The space , the design , the pool area. The chefs table was superb. The quietness and the architecture and the remoteness.

We thought the Bistro food menu was not very authentic. The service at the Bar was erratic and the list of champagnes by the glass very limited. I don’t use QR codes and they were everywhere and not my idea of 5 star. The ‘ hotel’ dog that joined us for breakfast was not appreciated by everyone and I would have preferred not to have had to share it with him !

Very nicely refurbished French farm , with options for dining, a nice pool area . Room was large with big bathroom . All very well appointed.

With a separate wine tasting facility, which was not explained on check in and we missed the Full experience, wine was available to taste at the counter, but not a full tour. We also arrived early and were told the room is not quite ready, understandable. We were offered to sit around the pool, which we did and had some lunch, but when we still had not heard by 5.00 pm , we went to reception and was told our room would be another 20/30 mins so a little frustrating. I just wanted to get to our room.

Wow! My husband and I had the most romantic and wonderful stay here during our honeymoon trip. The grounds of the hotel were incredible and so gorgeously maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was private, gorgeous, and so romantic. The beds were also profoundly comfortable. What a luxury! We wished our stay could have been longer but we can’t wait to one day return here.

in the morning, there were often people knocking at my door at 9am while I was sleeping. I’m not sure if it’s room service or what, but it’s very noisy. the restaurants are kinda limited in winter. there could be more variety for people who stay longer. the hotel should provide free fruit for customers daily

Everything was perfect, almost magic. We stayed in the "Castel" side and it was an amazing experience. Staff was phenomenal and services were top notch. Highly recommend relaxing in the spa for a couple of hours and then enjoy a dinner in Michelin-starred Le Jardin de Berne, a truly unique dining experience.

Everything was perfect, nothing specific to complain about. Perhaps if I want to be picky, I would say the weakest point is Le Bistrot restaurant - menu is very limited (especially for vegetarians like me) and personnel could be improved.

Beautiful place and settings. Easy trips to very beautiful towns and villages

They did not have enough choices for a gluten free person. We stayed 9 nights and we were eating pretty much the same things. That was a bit of a problem

Everything, from staff and service to the room confort, spa and amenities. The surroundings are exceptional. Excellent food and cocktails. Wine tasting, visits of the winery. Bike are at disposal and hiking paths around the massive property. They were really dog friendly and had the offered bed and bowls for our dog. They heard it was our anniversary and upgraded us with a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room. Best attention and service from staff. We were also welcomed with a glass of wine from the property. We visited the spa for two days and had each time the greatest massages. Spa staff is great as well. Thank you Château de Berne we will come back !

One of the most memorable stays I've had any where in the world. Beautiful scenic location, delicious food all locally sourced or grown from the land, and everyone was lovely and friendly. The cooking class was lots of fun and a great introduction to the Michelin star restaurant. The pool is a great way to cool down after exploring. Beautiful relaxing stay. I highly recommend.
