Au Bout Du Quai

Really friendly Welcome and spotlessly clean hotel. Good sized rooms, although en suite shower smallish which might be a problem for some, though not us. Tea and coffee in room and the most stunning windows. Near the station, literally opposite and a short walk to the shops, bars etc. Breakfast was a very generous buffet.

Nothing to complain about, really. The car park is a public car park shared with the station so it can get busy. Just need to wait a while or time arrival to avoid train arrival/ departure.

Great variety of interesting dishes for breakfast, such as pomme compote and milk posset. Excellent range of breads and cheese. Easy 10-minute walk into town and the beach, and the childhood home of Christian Dior (now an excellent museum in beautiful gardens with about 50 couture outfits).

It was difficult to park initially, as there were no spaces at the railway station opposite. Once a space became available, it was free for as long as we wanted.

I liked the cosy atmosphere, and the charming building. I really liked the breakfast facilities. Small, but everything you need. It seems like a familyrun hotel. The staff was very friendly.

Some loud music from outside at night. Might have been a coincident this week-end.

The location was excellent. Just opposite train station. We didn't even cycle !! We got a very warm welcome from the owner Caroline, who got up before 6am to accommodate us for breakfast , as we had an early train. Good shower, comfortable bed, great breakfast. Hotel was spotless. Safe storage for bikes.

Very helpful and the guy offered for me to put my bike behind the locked garden door which was very reassuring. It was a good sized room and very clean. He was also very accommodating about my early start the next day to reassure me the key to the garden would be available

Nothing to dislike

The room was very small but sufficient. The bathroom/shower extremely small. If I were a large person, I would not be able to fit into it. Very neat and clean. The bed great. The hostess was super friendly and helpful.

Nothing really. It is what it is in France. The room was extremely small, big French bed and very comfortable. Again, a laarge person would have had a problem in that room.

The owners are very helpful and informative about the area, delicious breakfast with local produce. We has interconnecting rooms so perfect for the kids. Lovely big windows that looked out onto trees and garden and gave in plenty of light

It's a quiet, comfortable, friendly hotel, very close to the train station and town centre....Granville is a beautiful spot, full of things to do, wonderful walks, great places to eat and see

Great location just in front of the train station. The breakfast was sumptuous with some normand delicacies. The owners were also very accommodating as we had a young baby and needed their help for a few things.

Nice location, nice hotel and breakfast was good.

Only one potential problem, Parking. No on site parking but station opposite hotel with free parking but always totally full at every hour of the day. V stressful on arrival at hotel.really lucky to find a place after 30 mins wait.
