Hotel Le Rayon Vert

The location is great, on the beach. the parking is just next to the Hotel and it’s free during the night. the guy on reception was very sweet and kind, he was really trying to speak English and it was really sweet! Room was very small but cozy and warm. the toilet is extremely small but nice. the hotel restaurant however is very dated and cold. Breakfast is average and too pricey for what you get and we were a little disappointed with the lady at the reception (and breakfast) in the morning. but overall a nice stay in a beautiful town and breathtaking scenery.

We had a room overlooking the ocean and it was a lovely view. The room was charming and very clean. We loved being in the center of the village and the views of the cliffs. The restaurant that was attached to the hotel was very convenient and offered a variety of options. The walks (and the wind) were stunning!

We had a problem finding parking when we arrived because the public lot next to the hotel was packed. We ended up having to park a half a mile away and then moving the car in the evening after the rest of the tourists left.

The hotel was beautiful & cozy and the stuff was friendly. Location was excellent, just beside the sea and beach boulevard. Still it wasn't too noisy. Sea gulls are everywhere :-) and remember that collecting pebbles is not allowed. Lots of tourists. Beautiful, amazing views and a recommendation for The Etretat Gardens and Marie Antoinette restautrant. Delicious!

The water pressure of the shower was quite low and the room was quite warm at night.

Spacious room with a superb view over the ocean + balcony with table and two chairs. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, e.g. when looking for a place to store our bikes over night. The room and bathroom were very clean and modern, the bathroom products were all organic/ bio. The hotel is located right at the beach front which is amazing and public parking is only a 1 minute walk away. Hotel is very dog friendly. Enough hangers were provided.

The bath tub couldn't be used properly because the drain wasn't closing completely. The WiFi was very slow, we had to switch back to data for anything. The breakfast is advertised as continental but it's rather French breakfast (but still delicious!): fresh baguette, croissant, pain au chocolat, juice, coffee, butter, jam, and joghurt. More jam or other toppings could be served with the baguette and croissant.

This is THE place to be when you visit Etretat. Right on the water with excellent view of both arches of rocks on either end of the bay. Very comfortable room with bathtub and sea view with a balcony. Fenomenal service, especially from Sandrine. The adjacent restaurant is really part of the hotel and offers spectacular food. We went both days for dinner.

The Wifi was not always working, but this is a century old bulding with very thick walls and we were on the top floor. There is not parking on site, but a large parking place 100 meters away. This could have been a problem with two heavy suitcases, but when we wheeled them in front of the hotel, two guys showed up out of nowhere and carried them up to our room. Turned out they were from the adjacent restaurant.

we got the first floor so it was just over the restaurant, so you see the ocean but it is distorted by the terraces in front of the window. the price was a bit higher than fair and the breakfast was lower than average, but you do mot have much choice as not many bakeries or breakfast options around.

Hotel is located right on the boardwalk in Etretát. We had a third floor room facing the sea which was amazing! The sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep! There is NO elevator and the staircase is circular the last couple flights. Bathroom is modern. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Hosts will assist with parking suggestions if coming by car.

Just be aware there is no elevator.

The proximity of the sea, to have such a direct view on it, the sound of the waves and even on the beautifully visible stars during the evening is gorgeous. And it's not just what was outside, the room was perfect also.

I would be happy to spend there much more time if it wasn't for the price. But then I guess you have to pay for a balcony with sea view..

The location of the hotel is exceptional! In front of the beach. Our room overlooked the village and was very quiet. The room was big enough for two, with a spacious bathroom. Good breakfast. The hotel has an old-fashioned charm. We had a very pleasant stay.

No elevator, so be ready to carry luggage up the stairs. But I’m sure the staff would help if asked.

This hotel has the best views of the whole town! It's central, right on the waterfront, so I could look out my window in both directions at the stunning cliffs on either side! I truly loved that, and watching the sunset from my room! I also loved being able to walk out on the beach so easily and up both cliffs, when there weren't crowds, at sunset and in the early morning! The room was cozy and clean and had everything I needed. I had one of the top rooms, and it's worth climbing all of the stairs for the incredible view! There was a nice breakfast too. And the staff was helpful and friendly! Thanks for a great stay! 😊

Parking is very hard to find so come early and pack light! It's worth it tho, for the location right on the beach and with the views!
