H¿tel Restaurant Le Relais de l'Estuaire

The staff were brilliant, Paloma and Maxim....helpful, friendly, warm. Just what anyone wants after 300 miles on a motorbike. Let alone 2 old English blokes on their bikes. The food and service were exceptional. The property is uninspiring from the road but behind the facade is a gem. And a bonus of ridiculously secure parking.

Beautiful French restaurant with warm atmosphere. The grounds were tranquil and the “floating” cottage was a real treat. This hotel had an unassuming entrance that opened up into a real surprise. The staff were very welcoming and could not to to much to make us feel at home.

Staff was outstanding, shout out to Marine. We had a car problem that made us stay there for 2 days and we got it all sorted out with thanks to Marine, and some of the locals. The food, wine and service was really good. Super good restaurant. The place feels like a hidden jewel in the middle of nowhere, don't be put off by the front look of the building, you will enter a closed relaxing place, it is exactly or even better than the pictures show.

Good location in town not far from motorway. Very friendly English speaking staff. Wonderful dinner (on a Sunday. Lovely grounds with a terrace and duck pond.

The accommodation is a little basic in a block separate from the main building. Clean but could do with a bit of TLC.

Great location, just a few kms from A10. Very secure parking. Sympathetically decorated rooms , each with different themes. Good restaurant for dinner and a good selection at the buffet breakfast to set us off on a northern direction to Brittany.

Beautiful and picturesque hotel. Big room for 3. Everything was clean and cosy. We had dinner ( simply excellent and delicious, congratulations to the chef). At breakfast, there was a great variety of products ( fruit, ham, pastry, yogurt,..)

This is such an amazing tranquil setting, you can’t believe that your in a town. Watching the wildlife by the lake, priceless. Great choice in the restaurant and good value.

Breakfast is basic, the only let down.

The room was really big, inserted in a huge garden with private parking. The garden was beautiful, with a small lake in the middle and grass all over, so the perfect place for our dog to run a bit!

Nothing to dislike here. The value for money is perfect! Perhaps breakfast could be a bit more diverse, but not really needed to be honest

The hotel staff were excellent; all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal very good and the breakfast was aa good continental type breakfast. Ideal for an early onward drive to St Malo. Room very comfortable and very good to have a kettle to make make tea or coffee.

The friendliness of the staff was the best feature. The lake and garden were pretty and it was nice to sit and chill.

More choice at breakfast maybe. The town was a bit quiet.
