B&B HOTEL CALAIS Coquelles Tunnel sous La Manche

Great location, just 15 minutes from the Eurotunnel. Convenient automated check-in system that allows you to arrive at any time! When we did see a member of staff, he was incredibly helpful and friendly. :) Lots of on-site free parking too. And as a bonus, pets can stay with you for just €4 each. I stayed with my two rabbits and three cockatiels.

The automated system wouldn't accept my credit card - luckily I was travelling with my mum and it accepted hers. Otherwise we would've had to wait until 5pm when the reception opened to check in. The air conditioning in the rooms didn't work that well; it wouldn't cool in my room, and wouldn't heat up in my mum's room. This made the rooms an uncomfortable temperature through the night. You could hear noise from other rooms.

Rooms are fairly basic and small but everything you need for a short stopover. Breakfast was good. The location in a retail park on the outskirts of Calais is not pretty but it is very convenient - secure floodlit and fenced parking and the Poivre Rouge restaurant across the road serves reasonably good food and is relatively cheap. Ideal at the end of a long day's driving! They take pets too and you can give your dog a lovely walk on nearby Bleriot Plage.

Air conditioning unit is noisy. Self check in machine is great, but is not obvious if you go to reception and ring the bell for attention - much easier to use the machine.

We've used this hotel multiple times, for the last eight years or so. The family rooms are perfect for a young family. We have 2 boys 12 & 10, and the mezzanine has 2 single beds, with a lockable gate on the stairs. The hotel is always, clean, comfortable and value for money. It can look a bit rough when you first pull up but the Police training centre next to it use it for their officers. There are supermarkets, petrol stations and great restaurants nearby, it's perfect either before or after catching the ferry/le shuttle. The automatic check-in is simple to use. The breakfasts are definitely worth the money.

They've stopped closing the car park gates. But that wouldnt stop us using the hotel again. The car park can be a bit tight though.

Great location near the eurotunnel. The member of staff on reception was really friendly and helpful and informed us about all the offers available near by. A bit more money for a private bathroom is well worth it. Free coffee and orange juice too!

Outside could have done with a bit of a clean. It's not the ritzy, definitely a motel but that it what we expected. Nothing more to say.

The location it’s pretty good, very easy to get to the bus station (only a 3 min walk) and you could get the bus to all the attractions easily plus the buses are free so no worries for buying any tickets. The breakfast was really good, loads of choices. The room was clean, small but enough for what you need. The personal are really nice and helpful. They even give you discounts for different restaurants around the stay. Lovely!

The bed was a little too hard for us but that’s just a matter of tastes.

We stayed for the night before taking Eurotunnel the next morning. It was a perfectly acceptable room and the type we usually choose when we are on our way home from a holiday, just somewhere reasonably priced so we don't have to get home in the dark. I would say that it was a lot nicer than others we have stayed at with the same purpose. We were on the ground floor and parked right outside. The breakfast was great. Plenty of choices of food and drink. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel on several times in the past and was reluctant to stay again as it had become quite shabby, but since the renovations it has become our best hotel for stops in Calais we were impressed, well done on the disabled room we had just right thank you.

Car parking at the rear of the hotel is quite small for large vehicles, this could be improved.

Location ideal for tunnel, 3 restaurants within walking distance giving discounts fir guests. Hyper market and reasonably priced service station nearby

Great to have a ground floor room but it was near the entrance/ exit and early morning risers smoking and talking outside the room at 530am was a bit of a drawback.

Bed was very confortable, the room was clean. We stayed twice, the first time, the room (210) was very small for a family of 4 the second time was bigger (room 215) for the same price and perfect! I wish I could choose the room next time! Overall a very confortable sleep to get the rest needed for a long journey!

I would like to be able to choose the bigger room next time because I could keep the cot bed next to me!

I like the cleanliness. The cleaner came every morning to my room. The staff are brilliant always going out of their way to help whenever I needed something.

They have very, very poor WiFi. The total Price book online for the accommodation was 552.14 euro and £620.05 was taken out of my account.
