I don't know where to start. Everything was perfect, the host family was very kind and friendly, and the room and facilities were comfortable and spacious. The bed was perfect to sleep in, bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast...simply excellent, self-made by the host, and on a beautifully located inner patio. The location is very near to the port and festival area, market, tourist office, and a lovely former cinema. Concarneau is a hidden gem and Lireu is really helpful in helping you with information. And he is a very traveled scientist, it is worth learning from his Antarctic experience. I felt as if I was visiting some relatives, I was there only one day but I the positive energy that you get after such a nice stay, lasts for weeks. A really great place to stay with a superb host who wants guests to feel good and cares about them.
I didn't like that I didn't stay longer at Ty Lirea and Concarneau :)

This 2 bedroom suite was very spacious for 2 couples. It had a comfortable living area and a small fridge. The breakfast was the best we have had in France. The location was also very convenient to all activities. We enjoyed chatting with our hosts.

Was a bit surprising to see that there was no real separation between the upstairs and downstairs floor. Not that it was a problem as owners were very discreet but I just expected it differently.
