ibis budget Cahors

Good budget hotel - Accor quality always above standard. Accommodation simple but clean, comfortable and practical. Happy with the key components needed for a pleasant stay - a comfortable bed and good shower facilities. The swimming pool is a real bonus on a hot day. The location is not central but free buses run into the city. It is a short drive into the centre but parking can be difficult in busy periods. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were planning to move on the following day, but booked an additional night as happy with the accommodation.

Room was great. Lovely boulangerie across the road. Fast food outlets and a supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been nicer to have lights on in the Budget reception area as it felt dark and unwelcoming. The vending machine for coffee was not working which meant I had to go to the boulangerie to get a morning drink. The location is really only suitable if you have a car because the centre of Cahors is a long walk away, on a very busy road, buses are infrequent and it seems impossible to get a taxi.

Easy and relaxed atmosphere. Good for a journey night stop.

For an extended stay to visit Cahors the location is on the northern edge of the city about 2kms from the centre with limited public transport BUT the local buses make no charge!

its simplicity of function and design makes it very different from the ‘normal’ expectations of a hotel. Not that it worried us. It’s well out from the centre of Cahors, but local buses are frequent - and free!

my disabled wife had to use the disabled shower in the room next to ours as there was only 1 single bed in the room for disabled. Hotel a long way out from the center of Cahors so needed a car to travel to the town.

breakfast was good. parking good.

bar staff informed us that cash was not accepted. would be good if a sign was in place.

everything was o.k., however, there was an atmosphere completely sterile. Once we met a human beinf (room maid). no plants, no pictures at the walls, nothing more than a correct room.

Great room, even though on main road, was really quiet. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and the staff was really nice and helpful.

Clean, modern, well located, good car park, quiet.

The quilt was a bit too hot but we had no other options. Even though we turned the heater down... Minor issue.
