Appart'City Classic Caen

Room was well designed. Very useful to have a kitchenette to prepare simple meals, and we liked the fact there was a table and two chairs in the room to sit at to eat. Room was comfortable, clean and it was very quiet. All staff, including the cleaner we met in the corridor, were very friendly. Location was brilliant. Easy to drive to, free parking at the hotel or directly oppostie, excellent transport links to the centre of Caen and close to places like Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. Supermarket / shopping centre short walk away. We would stay there again.

The only negative was that we had to ask for clean towels, as the ones in our room had marks on. However, the receptionist dealt with it really quickly, politely and apologised, so dealt wih really well. There is nothing else negative to report!

We stayed here on our way home from Spain. Well placed in Caen for the Ferry Terminal at Ouistreham. It is well located for a supermarket and there are a few places to eat within a kilometre, though probably not the best Restaurants in Caen. The car Park was very busy when we arrived but we managed to get a space, there seems to be a University Campus next door so maybe that was why it was busy as it emptied later on.First impression was that it was a little basic but once in our room it was actually pretty good. We had a studio which had a small kitchen area but quite well equipped, 2 ring hob, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, microwave, even a mini dishwasher with a dishwasher tablet provided and some washing up liquid. there was a couple of saucepans and a large frying pan, which was adequate to cook a simple meal. Crockery, glasses,cutlery and kitchen utensils were also provided. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and a king size, there was a small table and 2 chairs so sitting to eat a meal was possible. There was also a TV. The bathroom had a decent shower, shower gel was provided. There was also a hairdryer. Breakfast was provided in the room rate but we prepared our own in the room, from what we were told the breakfast was quite basic. There are no reception staff overnight so you are given a code for the main door. We would use this place again if travelling through this area.

The room was clean and neat. We didn't have our room cleaned while we stayed that entire week but that was okay cause we were quite busy with work. Kitchen maybe needs a plug point for the kettle and maybe a movable counter for food prep-space.

The access code changing often and no staff available if you get stuck outside at night. Also, parking was terrible and too small.

Absolutely great position for the ferry but also to get into Caen or up to the coast. I had driven that day from Nice and arrived after reception had closed but the self check in was excellent and easy. Safe free parking right outside too. Really very good. Oh also you don't need to check out till 11

The only thing is there is no ambient lighting in the rooms. It's very bright and stark.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location to the hospital was perfect for me. Excellent location for the tram.

The shower and toilet could do with a good bleaching. The cooker hood also needed a good clean

Room had enough space, you get what you book. Nothing fancy, but everything in good shape and it was all fine. Quiet neighborhood, 20 mins with tram to city centre. Very good bakery (Quellier) and supermarkets nearby.

The beds (mattresses) could be more comfy, they are really soft.

Location was perfect for our needs. Room clean, comfortable and simple all you need.

Car park used by University students and during day was difficult to park.

Nice size room, staff were friendly and polite, beds comfortable, clean and tidy, well equipped kitchenette, would definitely stay again, good value for money

As with everywhere, no English channels on TV.

Luck of evening stuff, and paid extra room which not needed, waste of money, two rooms more than enough for my family of 7 people, should one room for 4 person and one room for 3 person. Regards

This property is for a long apartment type of stay. When I booked this I did not realize I would have to empty my trash. It is very reasonably priced. Parking can be difficult.
