Logis Hotel Le Cerf

The hotel was easy to find and there was plenty of secure parking, so we felt very safe. We arrived on a Sunday evening, but the hosts were able to suggest a couple of places we could get something to eat. We had a big room with a double bed and a pull-out bed, both of which were perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with a lot of personal touches like a little gadget to cleanly take the top off a soft boiled egg! We were made to feel very welcome and we enjoyed our overnight stay in this pretty town.

We loved the location. Staff were really friendly and had a great sense if humour. As it was peak heatwave we were grateful that our room had A/C. Breakfast was really nice and tasty. The hotel is really clean and they do a great job each day making it spotless. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel.

I don't really want to say anything negative because we really enjoyed our stay however the final price was different to what to what we were expecting. We thought breakfast was included (that was our fault and may of been lost in translation). Car park was full each night so we parked out on the road. Again this isn't really a problem as we always managed to find a space.

The hotel is very pleasant, as are the staff. The proprietor was willing to stay a little later than normal for my later than 9pm check-in. A central location but quite rooms are available at the back of the property in the gated secure courtyard/car park. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. I had a double bed which was very comfortable and the room was warm after I turned up the radiator a little.

The accommodation was more than acceptable but the bathroom needed a new fan. the build up of condensation is affecting the ceiling décor but this is not off putting, just noted. I would stay in this room again, no problem.

We loved our stay here. The hotel was central and easy to find and parking was secure and part of the hotel complex. Our room was spacious and comfortable, overlooking the garden and therefore very quiet. Good bathroom and super shower area....lots of space. The breakfast was great and plenty of it. The hosts were delightful.....charming, helpful and welcoming.....they made a good visit into a great one!! They have maps of the town prepared with a lovely walk marked; they advise on appropriate restaurants....they suggested 3 for vegetarians and the one we went to was superb!! We would certainly not hesitate to book again! Briare is certainly worth a visit....pretty, on the banks of the Loire and with the famous canal on a bridge over the Loire.

Nothing to dislike. One of our best stays ever!!

Great location if you need a quick stopover. Town is charming. Staff were so friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Dinner at nearby La Sequoia was fabulous!

Dig not allowed in breakfast room because of the owners unfriendly dog. Some noise from the other guests coming in late and overhead.

Good sized room. Comfortable beds. Large en suite shower/toilet room. Secure parking behind gates. Reasonable bar prices. Lovely walks in the area. Stunning scenery, outstanding aqueduct.

WiFi on limit. Drops out from out building but haven't complained. Tea making facilities but no milk, it's an English thing so not going to complain 😀

Very friendly and accommodating Welcome! I was travelling with my bicycle and they took very good care of both of us. Also very nicely to put trust in me with my check-out at ungodly time in the morning - Much appreciated

Extremely comfortable family run hotel, with good beds, modern bathroom & excellent breakfast. Friendly & helpful service. Excellent restaurants within short walking distance. Complimentary secure parking within hotel's gated courtyard.

Good bicycle storage facilities in a room off the courtyard. Air conditioning. Museum about the canal and lock a few hundred metres up the road.

Hotel with parking. Close to town centre. Lovely spacious typical Logis de France room, well equiped and decorated. Enjoyed it very much.

It was quite hot. Couldnot get the airco in the right setting.
