Hôtel Le Windsor Biarritz

The room with beach view was on the 7th floor with an excellent view of the ocean and VERY comfortable beds. Beds were very soft and smelled fresh. The bathroom was a shower with good pressure. The breakfast was included and was excellent with very attentive service. It provided a great number of options for muesli to hot breakfast. Check in was easy. Location was in the town and close to everything.

Small room. Towels were not changed out for dry ones. Liked in shower gel but the one in our shower was nearly empty and not filled over our 3 day stay. Parking was not included. Small bar/lobby area but adequate for location.

We arrived early and the room was not ready but they said they would call us when ready after a short walk on the beach they called 30 mins later to say room was ready and we got in early. At check in the staff were friendly and helpful. Explained the city map to us for a walk about and where we could go at night to eat for a good choice and great atmosphere. Great location next to the beach. The breakfast was one of the best i have had in an hotel. Great choice and good food and looked after by very good and attentive staff.

Car Parking and offloading is clearly a problem. One specific you should make clear on arrival is to approach the Hotel with the Hotel on your right hand side. Approaching with the Hotel on the left hand side creates difficulties in offloading and to continue forwards and try to find a way back to the Hotel is a problem. Better to direct drivers to the car park and give clear instructions from car park to Hotel (very close). The bar in the Hotel should be expanded. We returned to the Hotel after dinner and would have liked a Cognac or Armagnac in our room as a nightcap. This was not possible. No Minibar.

The hotel is in a good location, just a short walk from the beach, with shops and bars close by. The hotel itself is nice, with a bar in the reception area and a restaurant. Clean room with comfy bed. We were given a room with a view. Very welcoming staff. Upon arrival by car, you can drop bags at reception and then head off to the public car park (covered) at Casino, which is a two minute walk away. The breakfast included was lovely, with the best croissants ever.

A thoroughly relaxing stay and a place I would absolutely visit again. The beds and bathroom are great- small, by functional and with everything you could need. A coffee maker and pods was a lovely touch. Breakfast is incredible at this hotel. I am not a breakfast eater- but the food was delicious, it wasn’t crowded and the staff were so lovely and coffee was great! love the granola! You cannot get a better location than this on La Grande Plage! Free beach towels and water were terrific! The seafood restaurant, Eugenia was excellent- super fresh, delicious and surprisingly reasonably priced for a beautiful meal overlooking the beach- make sure you go!

I had opted for a room without a view (they were very clear in my booking)- but I was looking into the living room of the property next door. I wish I had paid more - the view from any floor would have been special!

Well, we loved this place and wished we could have spent more time there. Right in the middle of town with easy access to everything. The hotel was clean, stylish with excellent facilities and you know you are in a good place when the staff have genuine smiles. Make no mistake, this is a very, very good hotel - it's the sort of place where you would be happy to write a chapter of your autobiography, especially if you had a sea view!

It’s close to the city center and the beach. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and offered to keep our stuff until our room was ready.

They don’t have their own parking lot; the closest parking lot is nearby, but it was full, and we had to wait about an hour queued up to get in. I was also not impressed with the restaurant. I had the veal and it was way overdone, absolutely dry and hard to cut; they don’t have steak knives. They also messed up our drink order and then forgot to bring us our actual drinks.

Great breakfast, lots of choices, fresh fruits, cheese, smoked salmon... Also vegan friendly the staff made me a delicious hot chocolate with soy milk. Very friendly staff. Great room with a comfy couch, and extra blankets. Location is perfect next to the beach but also to shops and restaurants.

A bit noisy, we can hear doors being closed, people walking upstairs or chairs being dragged on the floor. Wasn't noisy at night though.

The hotel is beautifully decorated — modern but very classy. There is great attention to detail and a wonderful breakfast was included. The beach is right out the door, and the staff provided restaurant recommendations. We left our bags at reception after check out and had a great day at the beach before leaving for our next destination.

Location is excellent, in the heart of the city and very short walk to the beach. Rooms, while small are very comfortable and clean. I was worried that we would hear the street noise (Club across the street) but was amazed that we could hear nothing. Staff is very helpful. and really went out of their way to accommodate our requests.

Nothing really to mention. It is a boutique hotel so travelers should not expect big hotel amenities.
