Hotel Crowne Plaza Madrid Airport

the room was amazing. big, clean, comfortable, great sized bath and lovely shower.

the airport shuttle advertised is actually only for people who have hand luggage. as we had larger checked in baggage we couldn’t get on it, so we had to pay for a taxi instead. this was actually the reason we booked this ‘airport hotel’ so we were disappointed to have to pay for taxis in addition to the hotel cost. also the location was a little difficult to walk from as the paths just ended suddenly at times, so we had to walk on the road at times to get to the train station. the breakfast was lovely but one day there was a bit of plastic in the cake

Very clean and very confy. Nice and smily staff. Nice and tasty food on breakfast (recomend to take) Director Ana is doing good job managing this hotel. Really hard to find anything to complain.

Location is a bit far, there is no metro station so you need to take bus (cheaper if you are alone or two, 2.6eur per person) or some taxi/uber/cabify 7-8-9eur (better and cheaper if you are familly) to first metro station Canillejas, then metro is nice and cheap, you can buy 10 tickets and each will cost 0.75eur.

Every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations and left a lasting impression. The hotel reception staff were not only attentive but also genuinely warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Breakfast at the hotel was equally impressive. The variety, quality, attentive service, and a pleasant ambiance made it a great way to start the day. The location is also good with a bus stop nearby which can connect you to the city center. It’s also convenient that they provide shuttle service to and from the airport.

Hotel is 15min from Madrid Barajas Airport and it's convenient for a night stay if you need to catch a flight the next day or rest after arriving. Room is spacious and comfortable. Shower is good. There's tea/coffee and small cookies available for free in the room. I stayed only for one day and left early morning, so didn't have the chance to try breakfast or any facilities in the hotel.

The website for booking the transfer didn't work properly and I couldn't get the confirmation (it was always loading). I sent a message through whatsapp asking for help, but no one replied in more than 12h. Only after calling the hotel I managed to speak with someone who could help me with the transfer.

Everything was fantastic. I chose this hotel because a lot of reviews said how helpful the staff were and I found this to to the case. Everyone was so helpful at reception and in the restaurant. Lovely large rooms. Large bathroom with separate shower & bath. Bathrobe. Mini bar and snacks to buy which was handy. Complimentary water, tea, coffee in the room. Great choice for evening meal. One of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I have ever had. Good airport shuttle service. Sound proofing I found good. 2 lots of double glazed windows in my room. Didn’t really hear the motorway which was very close. Did hear some aircraft but not during the night so sleep not affected. Actually quite good for plane spotting!

Only that it’s quite far from the city centre. I knew this when booking though, but it was a useful location for us for departing Madrid.

The breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel buffet, seriously excellent, especially considering the reasonable room cost. The bed and bathroom were comfortable and well equipped. Staff was friendly and plenty spoke English. Appreciated having 2 double beds and the room was large enough for our family of four, which wasn't available at all the hotels near the airport. Will stay here next lay over in Madrid.

The walls and furniture were scuffed and grout in the bathroom needed updating. However, issues were just cosmetic. Everything was clean, and did not take away from the comforts.

WOW, This is the only word comes in my mind when I am thinking about my stay at this amazing hotel. Everything is perfect from a very convenient Location to cleanliness and very welcoming, friendly, professional and very helpful staff. Especially Roul, Ruben and Javier there were few Lovely Ladies as well on the Reception, so sorry I can't remember their names. All of you guys are so nice. You have made our stay at Madrid Airport memorable Forever. Hope to see you again in the Future. All the Best. Mr and Mrs Raju.

Room was spacious. Comfortable beds. Clean. GREAT bathroom and shower/bath. Free transport to & from the airport.

The service was a bit prickly at times and the breakfast buffet is egregiously overpriced (16 euros - the most expensive of my entire trip to Iberia). At the end of our stay one of the managers shook-down a guest and his family for underpayment, holding up the other guests who were waiting for the shuttle to the airport to leave. It was humiliating to watch and in the end the hotel manager was wrong and had to come back on the shuttle to hand the guest a wad of cash in apology. Embarrassing behavior on the part of the staff. Saw similar behavior at breakfast, too. Management needs to slow their roll, focus on service, and be less overbearing to their customers and staff.

The location is good,not noisy as it’s close to the airport and the main road.The bus stop is a walking distance to the hotel,the staff was really helpful,the breakfast was good, shame that the staff asked me every morning which is my room number . The room was amazing very spacious and smelled so fresh ,the bathroom have shower and a bath , the quality toiletries were bonus to complete the picture.

I did have couple times problems with my door key and every time it needs to be re programmed at the reception every time,which was a bit inconvenient.

Comfy rooms very quiet and dark perfect to sleep

3 of us had our flights cancelled and being part of a large group staying there for 3 nights and also returning in a week we found it harsh we were still charged for a night when it was beyond our control that we could not be there. I understand the hotel misses out on booking them rooms but when we had 12 other rooms booked for 3-4 nights with 20 of us all eating and drinking at the hotel spending big dollars I felt some leniency could have been sorted
