Best Western Plus Pearl Addis

Very good location to airport and main roads. Friendly and helpfull receptions staff Room service was quick.

Better temperature contol in room Better TV channels options for international visitors (english) Water pressure in bathrooms could be better. Breakfasts was OK but could be better. Interantional visitors cannot pay in local currency (Birr) for their accomodation. Waitor service in restaurant must be more attentive. Very limited view and no real windows in the rooms in the back of the hotel making these rooms a bit clostophobic and dark

I have stayed at a few dozen hotels however this was the best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled fast and easy.. Staff was very hospitable and were there for every need of mine. Please let it be known to the management and staff that I had a wonderful experience at the Best Western Plus Pearl Addis Ababa Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Front desk staff was extremely efficient, pleasant and also helpful. They were extremely accommodating and allowed me to check in easily. The plane was delayed so I got to the hotel late and the receptionist was very happy to assist me and get me checked in. I didn’t have to wait. This was a big plus from the start. The service was exceptional as well. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. This was as close to a Ethiopian dream vacation as I could have expected. I will highly recommend this hotel for all my friends and colleagues. I really loved the character of the hotel and the hotel’s restaurant chef and staff were nothing less than fantastic and truly awesome. The Best Western Plus Pearl Addis has an wonderful restaurant. And very friendly staff. There were also other great restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. I would definitely recommend The Best Western Plus Pearl Addis Hotel and plan to stay there again for my next trip to Addis Ethiopia. I want to give a special warm thank you and customer appreciation to the Best Western Plus Pearl Addis Hotel Receptionist, Mevou and Eyuel, the Chef Biruk and last but not least the Hotel Manager Abraham. The Housekeeper was also exceptional, but I do not know her name. Thanks again for making my Ethiopian experience a life long

I think Best Western Plus Pearl Addis is a very professional Hotel. To make direct local calls from our hotel room would be great. Maybe outside restaurants able to deliver to hotel rooms.

The staff was wonderful! Everyone was a+ except that one lady, who told me that she is "allowing me one last time" to order Indian food from outside. Her highness did not want to acknowledge that her restaurant's food was terrible. If I ever decide to not stay at this hotel again, it will be because of this one woman. The other guys were wonderful!

The Indian food in the restaurant was not good at all. They need an Indian cook, especially, of they have plan to continue an Indian menu as a promotion tool.

The staff was super, the hotel and our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, room temperature was great, the restaurant was good. And it is close to the airport so no stress when we had to leave.

Not really anything bad to say… but internet speed can be inproved especially at afternoons and evenings when more people are using it. The bathroom had a small leak from the shower so a small amount of water came out onto the bathroom floor.

The staff were beyond nice. From the night I arrived till the day I left they were incredibly polite and smiles for miles. The servers at the Rosemary restaurant were always willing to add whatever extras I wanted. Breakfast was always great and Iooked forward to waking up to freshly made coffee if my morning allowed for me. I also didn't have a local phone line and the gentlemen at the concierge were very obliging calling cabs for me..I'd definitely stay here again.

The room I stayed in was freezing and the heat wouldn't work. The shower head had a hole in it so water would splash out of the glass cubicle. The bed was super comfortable however and the added comforter made up for the cold.

Fisrt of all I would like to thank you Mr Yosef (GM) and all the staff member working in this great hotel. I stayed 6 days to celebrate Ethiopian new year with my fiance and we meet an outstanding customer service in your hotel, the cleaniness of the hotel is amazing every single corner of the hotel is shiny and clean properly, the lifts,the coridor and the business room etc. I have tried to test different meal course from the resturant it was testy and healthy food with lots of options. The hotel is located close to the airport eventhough they provide shuttel bus. Overall the hotel is perfect for traveller from different parts of the world, its safe and secured, forex service, high speed wifi, shuttle bus, souvenir shop and breakfast include ......and many more facilities. Nothing at all

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and the breakfast buffet they had at this place almost made me extend my stay, there are exceptionally delicious variety of breakfast items from traditional to modern eats and coffee. Staff is top notch, very attentive and made me feel at home, from the managers to front desk to the lady who makes traditional coffee by the lobby, every one is nice and do their best to make you feel welcome. I also appreciated the fact that every one went above and beyond when I had a pipe that was leaking water in my room and made sure I was taken care of by fixing it and even changing the room.

There was nothing that I didn't like about this place.

My stay at the Best Western Plus Pearl was great! I was only supposed to be there for one night but due to flight cancellations I ended up being there for three. Compliments: The airport shuttle was waiting for me when I arrived and the driver was friendly and courteous, The staff were all very friendly and ready to help/ advise whenever I had a query, The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed (hairdryer, kettle, complimentary drinking water, extra blanket, etc), The breakfast buffet was a big selection and the staff replenished the food as it finished, The coffee was great! The wifi was reliable and fast and worked continuously!

I was on the third floor and could hear the noise of the street, however, if you’re used to living/ staying in a city centre the noise is bearable.

Rooms are in great shape and well caterd for. All hotel amenities were in top shape. All staff members were very friendly and professional. What I admired most was the breakfast. Oh yeh. It was really rich including a wide variety to choose from , where both the continental and local Ethiopian gourmet were provided. And boy, every day was a different food heaven. At breakfast we also enjoyed freshly prepered juices to pick up from and some fruits too. And here I would like to mention that the hotel provides supplementary traditional coffee which is presented to the guests in the authentic Ethiopian way.

There is a sound of water running through the drain all the time which you will hear. The shower head needs some maintenance as the water splashes all over the place including out side the enclosure. Some odor I believe from the shower drain also needs to be addressed.
