La Quinta by Wyndham Manchester

There was problem with the electronic room key when we checked in on Thursday evening, June 2, and someone had to bring us to our room that evening, and the following morning after breakfast, No real problem for us, and it was sorted out by the time we returned on June 3. The room was clean and well equipped, although whoever designed the toilet seating arrangement needs to go back to architectural school. It's very off-putting to see oneself sitting on the toilet facing a FULL VIEW MIRROR! The breakfast was excellent and the person on duty couldn't have been more courteous, as were the check-in staff.

This hotel was the first stop of many on a roadtrip, and it was just off the highway so we expected it to be quite standard but were blown away by the lovely staff who provided us with 3 pages of recommendations for things to do in the area and also booked us transport to downtown. The area around the hotel was lovely and everyone was friendly.

Unfortunately the cold weather caused an issue with the heating which was very loud, but the staff were very apologetic and even said they'd move us if needed.

Location was great, close to everything. Had to travel with my dog and it was very accommodating. I plan to return to the hotel again. Nice breakfast options served during our stay. The lounge area was comfortable and relaxed. My teenage son enjoyed it and felt comfortable enough to stay and dine in the area as well. Suite was fresh and clean with exactly what we needed.

We only had one issue. Shower had a draining problem so not sure if it’s throughout the hotel. I didn’t want to change rooms or have to deal with people coming in and out so we notified the front desk when we checked out and seemed appreciated that we let them know. They said they would address the issue, hopefully they followed through with it.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast bar was great and was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Stephanie at the breakfast bar was an absolute peach! We love her!

The first room we had, 113, was fine. The second room, 108, had trouble with the toilet being hard to flush, and running on after flushing. The wall thermostat appeared to be disconnected from the unit under the window. The lighting was a little too dim in both rooms.

It seem clean and the food provided for breakfast was very good

The room smelled like fish. Don’t know if cat was in room before us but room smelled like cat food, fishy. Hair dryer didn’t work, had to go to office to ask for one to use. Noisy kids slamming doors. Coffee machine didn’t have all the parts to brew coffee. Not a lot to choose from while watching tv. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Needed a heads up on how to get into place . Under construction.

The price is incredibly low compared to the North America and and Boston area. The room was huge and well furnished. Good quality soap, etc. We use to travel a lot since we immigrated from Europe so we so many hotels, never seen this ration price/quality. They are making renovations but they start works at 10am so we never heard any noise.

To be one hour drive from Boston, too far away but it is not responsibility of the hotel…

I always stay at this hotel when I fly in to visit my bf. It’s very close to Main St. and the hotel is nice and clean.

Construction is going on and I k ew that because it was going on the month before when I visited. The only negative was the front of the building was closed off and one day l, the day I checked out, the only elevator was broken so I had to carry my suitcases down the stairs.

Great location, amazing staff! The room we stayed in is one of the newly renovated rooms and it was beautifully modern and comfortable. Tatiana at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Even though we didn’t take our dogs we noticed that it was dog-friendly as well which we love! The breakfast was good. Fresh scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles were a great way to start the day. My son likes the outdoor pool (even if it was a little chilly) and my husband enjoyed the fitness room!

Nothing was unsatisfactory for us!

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There are plenty of pillows on the beds. I like that they had Dove soap in the bathroom. The breakfast had a nice selection, including scrambled eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns, all of which were delicious. The entire hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly.

I'm sure I look like a fool trying to go through the revolving door from the outside. It was not in service the night I checked in. There was a sign inside but not outside.

The hotel is convenient to downtown Manchester while still being a bit distant. The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast was decent.

Everyone going for the next several months should know that they are undergoing major renovations. They have an aggressive timeline and are doing a lot to improve the property. They’re trying to minimize the impact on guests (fairly successfully imo).
