Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites

Room was very clean and spacious, we were on 10th floor, no noise at all. No issues using the lifts, plenty of them. Laundry facilities excellent. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds available. Excellenty situated hotel for ease of access to International Drive and surrounding area. Bus service to and from parks was outstanding, never waited more than 5 minutes on a bus. Staff extremely helpful.

We we’re in Orlando for a cheer competition, and the location of Dockside was great. A 5 minute ride to the convention center, 10 minutes to Sea World and the complimentary shuttle service to Universal was fantastic! We never waited more than 5 minutes :). The cafeteria style restaurant on site was perfect for quick meals. The pool was clean and had enough seating. The bar was understaffed with long wait times. We had a 2 bedroom room with a little kitchen which was perfect for us. There is no luxury at this hotel and as other reviewers have said it is sorely lacking in storage space (3 drawers for a room for 4-6 people was definitely NOT enough) but we made do with our suitcases in the under bed storage area. Overall if your main reason for travel is To visit Universal and/or Sea World with younger children I would recommend!

This was a great location with an excellent shuttle service to and from all the universal parks. The rooms were really clean and the housekeeping team were excellent. Pool areas were well kept, and although the hotel was extremely busy, it still didn't feel crowded due to the cleverly designed shared spaces. The rooms were also a great size.

The rooms lack clothes storage, There were only 3 of us stopping for a week and there were only 3 drawers and a small wardrobe in the separate bedroom for hanging clothes. The kitchenette was a fridge, microwave and small sink which had no cutlery or crockery. There was plastic cutlery and paper cups, but that's not ideal if you want to eat in your room at any point to try to save on the cost of eating from the food hall or other locations which is very expensive for a family if you do that every day.

We stayed a total of 8 days, the last day being a last minute extension because we had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. I loved pretty much everything about this hotel. From the staff, to the rooms to the food. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were oh so comfortable! We had a pool view and it was absolutely worth it. The food was good, great variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Starbucks in the hotel is what really sold it for me! The pool was awesome and they had two on site! The bars were cute and the drinks were delicious. The location was cool. My family and I love to walk and there wasn’t much within walking distance. And the only minor thing that bothered me was the sand by the pools had a little more trash in it than I’d like. I feel it should be thoroughly cleaned especially for the kids. Overall this place was a a hit. Will definitely make this place a yearly vacation spot.

The facilities and location are excellent. The food in the restaurant was very good to excellent. The shuttle to the parks was very convenient.

The $15 per day for parking is a little excessive and could have been more clearly noted prior to confirming my reservation. I was caught off guard at check in.

- great location on iDrive - walking distance to local restaurants and shops- - shuttle to parks is really good bonus - our stay coincided with the hurricane and the staff were great, - pool area nice

A paradise. Lovely view of pool and skyline from tower 2. Important!!! You get in the park an hour or more early (6:45am) so can enjoy the top rides with NO LINES. Hagrid's moto ride is newest so most popular. Free shuttles all day starting 6am. You can do one main Harry Potter ride each with a two park pass (the castle journey and Gringott's, both fun) and take Hogwarts express between with no lines, and time for breakfast at the 3 Broomsticks. By 10:30 am the place is wall to wall masses. Make sure to reserve restaurants at the hotel for early lunch then leave. Return 5-7pm when crowds evaporate again.

Pier 8 buffet station staff clueless. Both servers one day were on staff one day. But all very nice.

"The staff at the reception was super super nice, friendly, and willing to help. He provided very detailed, almost all the information that I needed, and was very patient. The room is very close to the hotel lobby (compare with the one in Disney, we need to walk a long way to the room building). The lobby food court also provide various of food. Free shuttle bus and earlier entrance to the park. Considering this as well as the price, it's a very worth option."

It would be better if we can get the Park Map from the hotel reception or anywhere in the hotel.

We stayed here for 13 nights and loved it! Our room was lovely, clean and very spacious with a nice view on the 10th floor. The beds were very comfy and linen and towels were changed daily- housekeeping were a god send and always left soaps/coffee etc daily too! The onsite restaurant has good food choices and was good value for money. The pool and bar were also nice and we used these a lot. All the staff we met were very friendly! They made us feel very at home and welcome. The shuttle buses to universal and volcano bay were amazing - very regular and reliable! We used them so much and it was so easy to come and go. Very close to the parks and Volcano bay. We were also able to park our car and the car park felt very secure. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing - it was all great!

Location was fantastic! A couple minutes drive away from UNIVERSAL and about 20mins for Disney. Shuttles ran all the time (for universal) so never had to wait long. The breakfast was really good & pretty good value for money too! Definitely looking to come back in a couple of years time. There was a supermarket 5mins walk away to stock up on snacks and drinks which was handy. Hotel was clean and tidy. Really recommend.

Only thing we'd say is that the walls were quite thin so you could hear people quite clearly as they walked past or banged around (we were on the ground floor). However it didn't make too much difference as the times we did sleep were pretty quiet.
