Four Seasons Cairo At The First Residence

staff were very attentive, could not do enough for us. so helpful. pool was very relaxing - an oasis in a busy city! we visited as part of our honeymoon - a delicious cake awaited us on arrival!

Upset to find the hotel’s trips to the pyramids are approx triple the price of local tours. Tip to future guests: Google the tour you want to do, and book it yourself. hotel concierge’s prices are extortionate for the exact same tours. also Disappointed to find breakfast not included in room rate.

Everything. Smooth and fast check in process. Room was upgraded to the next category. Very good, spacious and comfortable room.

Not staying for long as I had another flight to catch. Concierge was not very helpful with an issue we had with our luggage with the airport, which resulted in waisting our very valuable and very limited time back and forth to the airport rather than enjoying our time in Cairo. Also, we received wrong information regarding our travelling terminal which resulted in changing terminals and we almost missed our flight.

Four seasons has the best service, clean room and good food.

We were disappointed with the big difference between four seasons nile city and four seasons at the first residence. We requested a nile view and we got a pyramids view which you cant even see! Even though the hotel confirmed that they will accommodate our request and highlight it as a top request, they failed too! we informed the hotel that we're honeymooners, and we got a message that we will get something extra special yet we didn't get anything special/ extra service.

Wooow this hotel is just amazing! I have been to many five star hotels before but this is definitely one of my top three visits. The staff is absolutely outstanding on a next level here. To just give a short example. We arrived at my birthday and as soon as they knew it was my birthday they quickly organized some small cakes waiting for us in the room. A few hours later they surprised me again with another and even bigger birthday cake! The view from the room on the Nile river is just amazing and the spa is really great. Can really recommend this hotel!

-Housekeeping had to be reminded several times to change coffee capsules & replenish tissues (which is a no brainer for such a hotel) they said sorry though and corrected it in the end. which is what counts. -Pool bar / entertainment closes early with the last order 00:45. -Access to spa is not ideal (you have to pass by the people swimming and people having drinks and lunch on your way to spa) rather than a direct elevator. -For a stay of over one week the water of flowers was never changed. -A few points if corrected would make the hotel a 10/10 but for now it’s 8/10 and I will give it a second try.

- Outstanding customer service - We generally don’t ask for housekeeping when we stay at hotels (environmental reasons), we stayed 3 nights and we got a welfare call to check if we needed anything as they hadn’t ‘cleaned’ our room for a couple days - very impressed how they kept this quality control despite their size - Left my sunglasses in the spa and realised around 4am, messaged concierge on their app service (very convenient) and lost & found brought them to my room immediately - Great outdoor pool with a restaurant next to it - Great spa and gym facilities - We asked for a late check out and they happily gave it to us free of charge

That we didn’t stay long enough!

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Swimming pool is good sized and warm. The area around the pool has restaurants, Cafe and bar. (this area is very pleasant) .

The inside bar is not pleasant and the inside daily restaurants closes after breakfast. It should stay open for guests and visitors since around the pool area is cold after sunset.

We stayed here for one night upon our arrival into Cairo, before leaving for Luxor the following morning. Our room (which we luckily got upgraded to for free) was spacious and clean, but not entirely comfortable (see below). We had a nice view of the Nile. We were given plenty of water and welcoming local treats, which was a nice touch. Breakfast and room service were both fine. The staff were warm, attentive and helpful.

Our shower wasn't working so we had to shower in the bathtub. As we were only there for one night, we couldn't be bothered moving to another room. Although spacious, the room seemed quite tired / dated - we understand that renovations were taking place in the hotel, perhaps to address these very issues, though (thankfully) we didn't see them. There was also extremely loud live music being played down in the pool area which were could hear in our room even though we were up very high; the performer was told to leave after we asked about it (this was after 10 pm and we needed to sleep). The food was fine but compared to other 5-star hotels, it wasn't anything particularly special. The staff were very nice but they tended to hover a little too much at times.
