The Grand Plaza Hotel Smouha

The room was quiet and very clean and had everything we needed including coffee, TV, and AC. The WIFI was very good. The continental breakfast included several options. The staff were friendly.

A lot of the food in breakfast was tasteless. Some seasoning and olive oil would have markedly improved it. Location is near a nice outside mal called the Green Plaza but it is 30 minutes drive from everything else such as the Corniche, Citadel, Bibliotheca and City Center. At times the staff, though responded that they would do something for us, we had to remind them or whatever we asked for was not done.

They changed the room upon my request because it wasn’t safe for my kids regarding the safety lock of the windows also I noticed they fixed that safety lock of that room that I left the next day. we had breakfast included it was nice and the staff were friendly I liked the room service very much,the food and the drinks also the prices are reasonable.

I didn’t like the very long wait for the check in and for the room change. I didn’t like the broken baby crib.I requested a baby crib it was broken and of no use for us.

Staff were amazing. Knowledgable and educated in managing guests and tourists. Even helped with flight changes and transport to Cairo. The building is new and the rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Lighting and aircon is super. Bathroom is clean and everything works perfectly. It's a bit away from the noise but Uber makes it easy and cheap to get anywhere. Definitely recommend

AC WAS PERFECT .. ALSO MINU BAR AND THE WC.. the room is good furnished.. all you need you will find..THE BALCONY IS GOOD With a City view and very good look and good atmosphere at night ...PARKING IS AVAILABLE WITH FEES AND ITS BIG.. in general all is ok and good.. good value not bad .

Thd fregidare wasn't cold the first two days.. it's getting cold in the third day.. i think the problem it was off before we come.. so it takes time for getting cold after its turned on..TV channels and satellite was awful.. it's just a local channels without any good channels except mbc 2 .. No entertainment at all on TV and satellite.. very very bored and poor 😐

everything, especially the staff and the team who are working at the reception desk, they were so professional, friendly and they know how to help and support the guests. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Egypt but actually this team are the best team I’ve ever dealt with.

Everything was just perfect especially the STAFF's excellent protection of security! I was quite amazed how brilliantly the hotel is being managed! More than experts! A great thank you to the chef he made the amazing delicious soup and gave us a large amount of chicken to take back in the room with us!! Excellent breakfast lunch and dinner.. The hotel has brilliant meeting rooms so that's a huge benefit! It's brilliantly clean great food and an amazing cafe place to chill out. Sadly there was no pool but that doesn't effect our stay. There is a mall beside the hotel with everything and anything from Starbucks to Carrafore for daily needs etc! A brilliant uni nearby and right beside the hotel is a lovely mosque..! A highly secured hotel for those getaways for a fee days or a few weeks!! Loved each day it felt like home. The guest relations were excellent the moment I checked in she had a quite word with us regarding the hotel and our stay! Very well-spoken and excellent communication. I'm quite impressed with this hotel I would give it 10 stars! Thank you to all the managers and great guest relations for all the effort and I'm happy to come back and feel a home again… I would recommend this hotel..! Great experience!!! And a great thank you to the housekeeping VERY WELL HYGIENE TRAINED..!

The property was fairly new and pretty big in size. It had gates and an easy access parking lot. The room was clean but it would be nice to get larger size beds. The staff was AMAZING! Mr. Islam the head of the reception upgraded my room for free and sent me a birthday cake when he knew it was my birthday! People were very friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was great! and the wi fi service was very reliable! I’ll definitely stay there again! deserving every pound I paid!

I definitely missed having a swimming pool and more drinks to be offered at the cafe.
