Motel 6-Las Vegas, NV - Tropicana

The staff are friendly and professional, room is very clean which is paramount for me and house keeping is good, good value for money, everything is smooth and easy, they helped me to call a taxi, airport is very close so taxi money is only less than $10 more that shuttle.

No fridge to keep my water and food cold. No hot water jug. On the first day, there is some weird smell, from the room which irked me and kept me awake for the first night. I had to leave early on the second day for Grand Canyon tour and when I came back like 10:30 in the evening and complained about it, they sent a friendly staff over to spray and also by then I realised it is much better already, no more issue for the rest of the stay. the smell is gone.

The office staff was great and very helpful. The cleaning staff needs to learn how to speak with guests. Also need to make sure that the people walking into open rooms are indeed the guests from that room. The hotel was in a great location. There was still hair in the shower and by the sink.

The cleaning staff were very rude. They need to learn how to speak to guests and not get mad. My feet were hurting and all I wanted to do was sit down and relax in the room I paid for.

We were pleasantly surprised with the pool. Parking was located right outside our room. The hotel is located within walking distance of the strip. There were multiple options for getting ice so you weren't standing waiting for someone else. The beds were very comfy. I was very pleased with the fact there was security, it is Vegas after all, and felt ourselves and vehicles were safe. Pets staying free is always a plus too!

Some of the lights in our room didn't work. Parking wasn't assigned (example: not labeled for the room you were in) so when I left someone took the spot in front of my room and they didn't even have a room on that side. The bathroom didn't have a door for just the toilet/shower area so you could access the sink while someone was using the other area. Also you couldn't lock the bathroom area doors.

The whole staff there was friendly and very helpful. Security was awesome!! Very friendly and alert with everything and every one on the property. They made me feel very safe and protected. Grateful to have them there watching out for me and all guest. Whole staff was just lovely

Walking distance from the strip. Nice spacious room with comfortable bed, clean bathroom with lots of towels. No resort fee. There is a convenience store on site which was great for getting some bottled water + snacks.

This is probably inevitable with all Las Vegas accommodation but there was a smoke smell in the room despite being a non-smoking room.

Budget hotel so attracts lots of different characters, police were present one night and we saw one man having quite bad withdrawals from something. I would probably feel a bit unsafe if I was a solo female traveller. The walk back from the strip to the hotel at night is okay but could be a bit sketchy at times.

I liked the room privacy room service, Pool hours+take our own alcohol-obviously no glass only cans. They have ice machines.

I didn’t like that the non smoking rooms smell like cigarettes/smoke.

great value and great location! the staff was absolutely amazing and the pool was cleaner then some of the other pools I’ve seen in Vegas which really surprised me. 10/10 would book again!

didn’t know they didn’t have shampoo and conditioner but that’s honestly my only complaint so I’ll take it

The size of the room was perfect for our stay, it is very close to Las Vegas Strip and it is pet friendly we didn’t have any problem with our dog

we had some issues with the A/C but nothing too bad

the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view of the city from the motel is gorgeous, especially at night when the city lights up!

the motel is located right next to the airport, so the plane noise was very loud at times. Breakfast also would have been nice, but that obviously didn’t detract from my stay!
