December 2024

We had a pleasant experience. The location was excellent, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The neighborhood was charming, with cafes and restaurants in every corner. Our room was practical, comfortable, and very warm, which was great during our winter stay. The mattresses were excellent, ensuring a great night’s sleep. There was always hot water available. The room was consistently clean.

The staff at check-in seemed annoyed about manually recording our details, and some receptionists appeared unfriendly, except for a helpful young man on night duty and a kind lady during checkout early in the morning. The bathroom lacked towel hooks, and a small fridge in the room would have been convenient. The pillows were very large, and there was no alternative size available, which made sleeping slightly uncomfortable for me. Despite these minor inconveniences, we would definitely recommend this hotel, and if we visit Prague again, we would choose to stay here.

It was a conveniently located hotel to several key locations within the main city. Staff were friendly and explained alot in detail upon check in. They also booked excursions on your behalf too. Breakfast was adequate to get you started in the morning.

Whilst the bathrooms were clean, linen could do with complete replacements. Found a hole in my duvet and towels were rougher than should be.

It looks like new hotel. Hotel is in very good location. Still in centre, but in quiet place. Main centre atractions are like 10-15 minutes walking away from hotel. Room was very specious, beds really big, and comfy, walls very high. Very warm room. I slept without blanket and no heating in November and still was warm. Clean rooms, cleaned every day. Breakfast really good. Noise isolation. Never got any troubles sleeping. Day or night. And for the price I payed was the best quality you could get.

The only thing I did not like, that you have to pay for coffee or tea after breakfast hours. Is not much, 50kr, but as hotel guest I would expect tea for free. But its not a big deal

The hotel was in a great location, about a 10 min walk to old town. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The room was clean and had all we needed. The cotton wool pads and cotton buds in the bathroom was a nice touch. The shower was excellent. WiFi was really good, but that maybe because we were on the first floor. Breakfast was really good too, from slices of ham and cheese, bread and croissants to fried eggs, bacon, and sausages. We certainly made the most of that. My only complaint, like a lot of reviews, was the lack of tea making facilities in the room

The room was a great size and very comfortable. It was clean and the bathroom was spacious and well maintained. Excellent location, a two minute walk to the river and we were at the Charles Bridge in less than ten minutes walking along the river. A very good breakfast is served daily. Friendly and helpful staff. We were provided with discounts for nearby restaurants. Some chilled drinks are available in the reception and decent coffee was available via reception 24/7. The hotel arranged a seamless airport transfer for us. The beer hall two doors down is fabulous!

It was a little noisy at times when we had to have the window open, due to the bars on the street - which might disturb some guests. The acoustics in the breakfast room are not great, so the noise can be a little overwhelming in there, and we found it hard to have a conversation some mornings. If a kettle were provided in the room, it would be perfect!

The hotel is very well located hust outside Old Town, far away enough to be quiet but close enough to be walkable everywhere. The breakfast was a great bonus because it was delicious and varied. The room was clean and warm and it was facing the morning sun, which was wonderful. The hotel also had a luggage room which was very useful to leave our bags after checkout on our last day. Overall we were very happy with Hotel Páv and we highly recommend it!!

We have no negative remarks to make about this hotel. It did not disappoint in anyway.

September 2024

Great location, friendly helpful staff, large comfortable room, decent breakfast.

I stupidly booked a room without air con & although the hotel provided a fan, it was so hot overnight that we had to leave the windows open - that meant noise got in as well as air! The hotel is very central & so the streets are sometimes quite noisy (mainly early morning bin collections). But I should also point out that the room had very good double windows & noise wouldn't have been a problem if we'd kept the windows closed so we can't really complain.

Lovely bright & airy spacious room in a quiet location. breakfast varied & nice. Location a little far to walk to the centre but we managed

Mattress was a little bumpy. Cleaner missed removing dirty cups first day. Would improve it if it had a small bar to serve drinks if you did not want to venture out or in between a busy day & evening meal where you can sit & chat. No list of TV channels & I could not find any English channels or even music channels to have as background noise.

The hotel location is perfect. Away from the tourist crowd of the old town, but at the same time very close to it. Everything is within walking distance. No need to use public transport to go to city center, but if you want, the tram stop is very close. Breakfast was very rich and tasty. The receptionist was very kind.

I didn't notice the air conditioner. It wasn't too hot when I was there and I was fine with the opened window, but on hotter days the temperature in the room could be a problem. If the room is on the street side, it can be a bit noisy, because the live music restaurant U Fleků is next to the hotel, and there are usually noisy people out on the street. We had the fourth floor and it wasn't very disturbing, but some people might not like it. A small minus could be that the TV channels are mostly only in Czech and German languages. In English, there is no options.

We stayed in room 318 for a week. The room was very big and nice, with good heating system, the beds were comfortable, big bathroom and finally a shower cabin that's not leaking! Good location. The breakfast was good and diverse and if you leave before it is served in the last day, you can ask the staff with at least 24 hours ahead to bring you a "breakfast box" (we didn't know it was an option so we've missed it).

I didn't like the shower gel, but my boyfriend was ok with it - it's subjective, no big deal. (note that there is no shampoo separately) There were no scrambled eggs for breakfast.
