wow, a perfect location right on the bottom of a river looking up at the Cesky Krumlov Castle. The location was right by the main wooden bridge. Crossing over to go up to the castle. we had the terrace room, which I highly recommend with a beautiful terrace looking over the river and the castle in the morning or night. The food was the food was exceptional. We had lunch dinner and breakfast the next day in the same place and the quality was phenomenal. finally, the staff was more than helpful Victor at the front desk accommodated everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting the perfect location in Cesky Krumlov.

Huge bedroom with an equally large bathroom overlooking the river (but we had paid extra for that). Perfect location in the town centre and one of only two restaurants open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Nice little extras in the room (fruit, cakes, water and a small bottle of bubbles on Christmas Day!). The owner provided us with a packed lunch on our day of departure (we were the only ones staying in the hotel that day!).

Bathroom was beautiful but impractical. Corner bath was difficult to step into and had no curtain, so a proper shower was not possible. Also the lighting in the bathroom was insufficient.

The room is spacious & clean with excellent view. Also warm & cozy during the cold winter. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Location of the hotel is easily accessible to everywhere in this small town.

There is no transport arrangements for the hotel guest. We have to call the taxi & waited in the cold for 20mins at the train station upon our arrival. Also email on our own for the departure. Nevertheless, the staff is very helpful with all information for the transport arrangements.

Hotel is very quaint and old looking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good and satisfying. The hotel restaurant next to the river was wonderful in both food and atmosphere. Room was quite large with three beds but needed brighter lights.

Customers should be firmly warned not to attempt to drive to hotel since medieval town streets are very narrow and don't accommodate cars too well. Plus hotel has no parking. Instead, customers should be directed to park outside the Old Town in one of the many city parking lots and take taxi to hotel if don't want to walk the half mile to it on cobblestone streets.

the proximity of the hotel to the castle, just right below the castle across the bridge, and 2 minutes walk to the old town square. My room has a beautiful view of the river and sunrise; very spacious and it has an old charm to it and big windows. the hotel has restaurant by the reception, outdoor setting and beautiful view of the castle. and the food is delicious!

I like everything, very charming property.

Location is excellent, the Vltava river wraps one flank of this property and with gorgeous unrivalled views across to the castle and across the town. Rooms are comfortable, and very clean. Staff and service is great!

It’s a little dated, but then, the whole town is UNESCO Heritage listed, so it would be incredibly challenging to renovate.

The location, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever sleep on. The view is amazing. We had the best view from everywhere, even from the hall at the entrance of the room (between the bedroom and the bathroom). The bathroom was huge, and luxurious. We received fresh fruits in the room everyday.

The cosmetics were put in the bathroom the first day and weren’t refilled, even if were consumed 75%. But this is the only minus for Dvorak

Room 504 was great, really nice. Love the complementary robes and slippers. Nice to wear on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful view. Incredible! Wanted to stay longer.

Nothing not to like…we’ll, maybe the fact that I kept forgetting about the low ceiling over the bed! Kept bumping my head! 😲😂

Stay here for the best location in Cesky Krumlov. The hotel is literally on the bank of the Vltava River and across from the castle. Our room had a large living room with chandelier and balcony overlooking the castle and river. Very Instagramable! The front desk was welcoming and helpful. Mulled wine and hot chocolate served in the evening for strolling the medieval streets with a hand warmer. So nice to stay overnight in this gorgeous town rather than a day trip.

Lovely Staff and a very beautiful and clean room with a big bathroom. Unbelievable location with amazing views of the castle and river. Nice cosy bar area and terrace. We reallt enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend.

There was a very strong smell of food in the corridor of the hotel.
