Casa Pestagua Relais Châteaux

This is a big 10. After 76 countries and many great hotels, this hotel is one of the best we ever stayedm nothing is too much trouble to them. They are nice and welcoming, room was very big, the place is romantic, and much better in real life than in pictures. It has great atmosphere, lounge music by the pool, sunset drinks on some days, minibar is complimentary, and a lot of nice surprises like this. I want to go back to Cartagena just to stay here again. Thank you very much for such a happy weekend.

Some staff at breakfast were not up to the standards of the hotel. I think a bit more training and all will be solved. On the last day we were having a sunset drink by the pool as we had a late flight and we were reminded that "we checked out already" by one of the reception staff. I found it not very nice, even if they apologized straight away and offered the drinks. It is minor things, we will return :)

This place is almost magical, you are indulged and treated as a royal the moment you put your first step at the entrance. The staff is super polite and guest friendly with an smile on their faces. A truly amazing location and experience at the heart of Cartagena. PS: The front desk team was exceptional, and Luis the bellboy went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The prices could be adjusted to better reflect local prices and less European standards. Additionally, the restaurant could add more local dishes and improve the overall food quality. Lastly, be sure to come prepared for mosquitoes on the ground floor, although this is not just a problem at this hotel. Despite these minor issues, the location is truly enchanting and a perfect place to start or end your visit to Colombia.

Everything was perfect starting from arrival till the last moment. Room was very very nice! Staff is exceptional! There are a lot of small details and touches that make you feel welcome and gives extra touch for every moment staying there! Location is perfect, cause you have everything you need within walking distance. Airport is very near. Despite the fact that this Hotel is in very lively neighborhood it is very quiet and peaceful in your room. Beds are very comfortable! Linen and towels high quality. A lot of small details to make your stay very relaxing and you feel that they actually care about you. So if you head to Cartagena and want to be taking care of the highest standards then this hotel is perfect for you! They organize all desired tours and activities. And they have very nice pool to cool down in hot day. There is even gym to make more room for the delicious food and they have even bikes to rent to see more of Cartagena oldtown and Getsemani. We definitely will stay there again if we can travel again to Cartagena!!!

We should have stayed there longer, our vacation was too short to enjoy all the good things they have to offer! :)

We spend a week during November in the Hotel. We couldn’t ve chosen a better location. The Hotel is beautiful, it has been recently renovated in great taste and comfort. The rooms are spacious, warm and cozy. The staff is friendly and attentive. Being Cartagena an incredible place, if you add a stay in Casa Pestagua you are basically creating the perfect vacation. Five stars!!

Location, decor, class, cleanliness, staff, pool, service, details.

The location was excellent and absolutely loved the decor. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in and loved the added touch of a Toto toilet, double vanity ans Ortigia bath products in our bathroom. The room was very spacious too! Not to mention the staff - simply excellent. Friendly and so helpful!! Everyone from the front desk staff, the waitstaff and the bellman - they made our stay so special.

On check out the elevator stopped working so we carried our luggage down 3 flights of steps. I suppose if we had called, they would have gladly sent someone to carry our bags. In their defense, a serious rain storm happened the night before and even entered the elevator

Perfect spot, if like us you are interested in staying in a historically romantic mansion built several hundred years ago. Centrally located in the Walled City. Staff were superb! Breakfast wonderful. Gorgeous courtyard is a magnet for wedding receptions. First time to Colombia, we were nervous at first, but the Walled City was a perfectly safe area.

Cleanliness as such was great. No worries there. However the ellegant bathroom marble and brass fixtures could use a polish and the woodwork a new coat of pain. Overall a great value since the most expensive 5 star boutique hotels in the area cost twice as much.

Our room was beautiful, clean, and very spacious. The pool was relaxing and the lounge chairs were always ready with towels, which we really appreciated. Service was phenomenal, it's an amazing hotel! Also, the breakfast is really good, fresh fruits, coffee and bread, we'd recommend trying it. It was really a great stay!

Great location, amazing and attentive staff, and all of the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. An oasis in the middle of the walled city! They are also owned by the same company as Casa San Augustin and can help arrange Spa services there. Very happy with our stay and will definitely return!

Nothing....maybe more frequency from the pool area waiter.

Hotel is beautifully furnished and maintained. Location is within minutes of great restaurants and shopping. Staff is friendly and well-trained. They called us by name within a day of arriving. Breakfast service is excellent and creative. We felt as tho we were staying with close friends. Nothing was a problem.
