Extraordinary experience during our stay at Shangri-La in Qingdao!. A hotel with such high standards in every aspect is rare to find nowadays, especially after Corona crisis, when many hotels seem having reduced their service and attention levels dramatically! Here it was like being back in the "good old times" of five star hotels with super friendly staff and very good and helpful service! Fantastic breakfast buffet for any kind of taste - european, chinese, korean, japanese. Very clean rooms and good restaurants. Shopping Mall and subway station just across the street.

Excellent pre-emptive customer service, & beautifully designed room in the new wing with ocean view. Room service efficient, with food of a high standard, and very good value for money. Well maintained Health Club with medium sized lap pool, well stocked gym, and sauna. Fantastic spa & a great massage from Mei had me sleeping like a baby.

Spa and salon somewhat overpriced especially when considering the cost of the room at this time of year. Low season deals would be appreciated by guests I think, & attract more custom.

The hotel location was great as it was next to premium shopping complex. The room was clean and the towels was in good condition and very clean too. The service and friendliness of the hotel staff was awesome and outstanding. I was impressed with Ms Anny Zhang (Front Office Manager) helpfulness and service. She even help to pay for my airport taxi fare as my Alipay got some problem when I arrived airport. It will be my only hotel I will stay when I visited Qingdao again. Thank you Anny.

The hotel is very beautiful. The environment is very warm and welcoming. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms Really excellent breakfast at Cafe Yum, with both Asian and Western choices. All fresh and delicious Nice and helpful staff

Smell of smoke inside the room. The pool was freezing in every sense. The water temperature was good for penguins, certainly not for relaxing and swimming. The outside temperature was no better. The furniture is not welcoming and elegant. The hot and cold pools inside the women's changing room were full of hair and not welcoming as well. The staff inside the pool wanting to be kind was absolutely intrusive. We just stayed one hour and then we ran away to have a hot shower in our room. The reception staff could have been more courteous and helpful in finding a place near the hotel to do the covid test, especially in a period like this where it must be done so often

The hotel room was well appointed, I especially loved soaking in the bath after a day of exploring. The breakfast provided a good variety of foods. The staff were friendly and helpful and most spoke English. The hotel was located very close to the metro train station. It is also close to a major shopping centre (MixC).

The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The breakfast deal was great value for money as it also offered refreshments and a light dinner in the evening. Hotel was very conveniently located next to a large shopping centre and train station.

Wonderful staff and very clean. Great gym and spa facilities. Loved the big swimming pool and cold plunge. Plus the Sauna.

The Spa was closed over New year and I was not informed of this by booking.com.

The location within a shopping center quarter is very convenient. the breakfast includes a big choice of Chinese and European cuisine. the quality and taste of all foods were exceptional.

More varieties for Breakfast should be displayed specially for European and Arab visitors
