Nice room with a desk. Close to West Lake.
Hotel is relatively expensive compared to alternatives. The check-in process was a bit awkward with the receptionist going through a set of memorized questions without really seeming to have much understanding of English. After having given him our passports he said 'can I have your passports please' and 'what's your name?' (it's right there in my passport, right?).

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the free toiletries were very nice.
We wanted a room with a balcony so that we could sit there in the evenings. There was no furniture on the balcony though. The rooftop terrace was also closed.

Breakfast looked good but was not impressed with it. They would not give out soft fried eggs over cooked rubber splodges. The reason give was that they could not guaranty the quality. Why is a large 5 star hotel buying substandard eggs. Restaurant staff need lessons on customer interaction.

1. Good location, just near by the Westlake & Baoshi mountain, and also close to Zhejiang University. 2. Has a bakery, which is good for enjoying fresh air 3. Serving is good enough, by default withe English service over the phone
1. A bit noisy, I can hear the sound from some kind of bar from downstairs, and the hotel is close to the road 2. Old facilities, for example, the floor is dusty, and the bathroom decoration is like 20 years old style, very small size TV 3. Breakfast not good, the bread is hard as stone, and they did not refresh the soup in a timely manner
