West Wing at Park Town

Location is excellent if you stay with kids, you can just walk to WonderHub, Kinsmen Park, riverbank or downtown for ice cream. Restaurant is located inside the hotel, meals are delicious! Breakfast has so many options that I has been lost. Swimming pool added much more fun to our stay, and it is available from 8am! For early birds like my daughter it was fantastic.

The hotel's price policy is not aligned with information provided by Booking.com. I mean price for cot, Booking.com says it is for free, but actually it is 10cad+taxes, but crib and playpen are for free. And there was some dust on a windowsill.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. Restaurant was lovely!

Upon checking in, the front desk girl informed us that we did not have to worry about paying for our parking in the parkade. Unfortunately, ourselves & a few other vehicles, had $60 parking violations on our windshields the next morning. However, the morning front desk staff graciously dealt with the issue so that we were not liable for the charges.

they have some problem with power settings in the west wing we faced lots of power shut off and it was disturbing and two items were lost in our room !!

Good parking. Staff very polite and accommodating. Close to good parks.

Restaurant staff in the evening were exceptional. Breakfast staff need to do better. There were no water refills. Waitress seemed to keep disappearing. Patrons were waiting at their tables for a long time for their bill just to be told to go to the till. No local Channels on the TV.

The parking wasn’t the greatest and I do t know if it’s usually included in the price of the hotel or you had to pay it separately but we paid it separately.

I have stayed at this hotel before. Its restaurant is conveniently located on the main floor and provides great views of the river valley. Although my single room was smaller than the newer hotels, I appreciate the quality of the decors; for example, the furniture is solid, made of beautiful wood. Lighting is better than average. Plug ins were convenient. I did not visit the pool this time, but it used to be one of the largest I have seen in a Canadian hotel. I will stay there again.

The hotel entrance driveway is tricky; it comes directly and quickly off a busy road.

We liked everything

except the long walk from the elevator to our room!!! We had asked for a 1st floor room due to walking issues so walking to our room was a bit much!!

The beds were great. Bathroom was clean and nice looking.

Front desk and housekeepers were friendly. Poor service for waitresses in the restaurant and in the adjacent pub, Finn's. Long waits to get food or drink and not checking back to see if we needed anything or how things were tasting.

How quick room service was after the call for our meals❣️

The swimming pool could have been cooler!! Also, I was told that the hotel would validate our parking by one of your clerks, I was mislead!!!

Staff at checkin we’re not very good at explaining extra charges. Room was quiet and close to elevator!👍🏻 Staff accommodated our checkout request for 12:30. All wait staff in restaurants were excellent!
