Hôtel Le Cantlie Suites

the staff was amazing, very friendly and welcoming! was a great value for the price we paid. good location to everything….. dinner was a 3 minute walk. bell centre (we were in Montreal for a concert) 8 minute walk. getting TO parking was not easy or convenient however, once there was good. it was valet only, was $25+tax and was underground. felt safe leaving my car there and was free from snow/rain. suite was nice, fridge microwave and sink! overall great stay! would recommend to anyone and everyone :)

the parking was tricky at first. the street we had to turn down was closed due to traffic. we had to manoeuvre through a fence and cones to enter the parking lot. the bed skirt on one of our beds had a stain on it. almost looked like someone had dropped something and it splashed. we had 2 queens so we just slept on the other one.

This place is so so beautiful, the room was incredibly spacious, so large , very cleaned , organized with everything you could ever need . We had to big big beds really nice , also really love the shower so relaxing so nice They have a beautiful rooftop pool , perfect views of the city . Also offer a gym . The staff is really friendly, really helpful The location is perfect Really loved the room, the property would love to stay again Thank you for everything Really Beautiful stay , incredible hotel . Beds are extremely comfortable, and pool is gorgeous! Staff is friendly and polite. The hotel is in a safe area and a fair location: right near the Musee de Beaux Arts (which we enjoyed visiting), Mount Royal, and McGill University. It is near a train station but not within walking distance to downtown.

We often had to ask for things (shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, towels) and did not receive them in a timely manner. A glass fell out of a cupboard in our room on the first night; we reported it and requested that it be swept up, and it was not throughout the entirety of our week-long stay. The valet parking is convenient but is overpriced ($35 per day - my sister traveled to Montreal a week after I did and she paid $35 to park for her entire 3-night stay in the city). Given these, it seems to me that the hotel was a bit overpriced.

Very clean, comfortable bed. Was in larger suite with separate living room and small kitchenette. Nespresso machine with pods. Great location downtown, close to lots of shops, restaurants and Eaton shopping centre.

I would have liked having some drinking water in the room and maybe even a filled minibar. Also, milk instead of whitener would have been nice. Rooms are a bit dated but perfectly fine.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The room is big, with 2 very comfortable beds. Extremely clean. Had a nice kitchen tucked behind a pair of doors. Shower was a pleasant surprise. It has good lighting, rain shower (wife loved the hand-held shower) and bath robes. WiFi was excellent. We stayed 6 nights so we got a chance to meet the staff. everyone was friendly and very helpful. We were always greeted with a smile and a GOOD MORNING or HELLO. Hotel has 3 elevators serving 28 floors, with the pool and laundry on the 28th floor. Ice machine and gym on the 27th. No waiting. Metro station is 1 block away with numerous eateries within 5 blocks. Bus stop is in front of the hotel. WestJet lost our luggage. Upon arrival at the hotel, Yanis was so helpful by providing toiletries. A gentleman with nice hair ,wears glasses (didn't get his name) was great with knowing the area and suggestions. Arafat was also great with suggestions and suggestions.

You need to run the hot water in the bathroom almost 2 minutes to get hot water.

Loved the pool, lots of towels available, lots of places to sit, clean area and bathroom. Bed was very comfy - a bit soft, but loved having several pillows of various fill and puffiness! Kitchenette had all we needed, except a wine bottle opener. It could use a bottle recycling bin. Fridge is a very generous size. Lots of clean towels in the bathroom and clean bathrobes. Lots of areas to charge devices. Curtains covered windows and kept it dark enough for a good sleep in. Perfect location to visit various areas in Montreal, short walking distance to Metro, Old Town, McGill, Plateau, Atwater Market. Staff - super helpful and kind.

Pool - overly strong chlorine smell, and no shower to rinse off before and after being in the pool Bed - was too soft after day 3 of staying there. Towels - one small hand towel in bathroom was dirty, toilet was dirty, shower drain - water was building up during a shower, so when I reached into the drain I ended up pulling out about several inches thick of hair that built up in there - gross, (cleaning staff needs to check this every time!) once that was out, the water drained perfectly. I'm not squeemish about this as I have long hair and do this at my home, but I do not expect this in a hotel! Freezer - did not keep things frozen, but lots of room in a very nice sized fridge.

Wonderful location, very close to Station Peel. Sherbrooke has some light traffic but it's quiet enough in the evenings. Our suite was extremely spacious and the kitchenette was well stocked and well laid out. There were a sufficient amount of plates, utensils and pots and pans. We used the kitchenette quite regularly and having a sink was beneficial. The beds were extremely comfortable and the AC was easy to control.

They ran out of parking but they helped us with many nearby options which were extremely affordable and well priced. Would have loved a simple continental breakfast to be included in the price point but the option to pay for an upgrade to the all you can eat buffet. Some of the noise travelled a little but mainly because we were right next to the elevators.

Location was perfect, its near the Peel metro station and bus stop is just outside. Moving around in downtown is most convenient. Staff was very good and helpful. As we had to search for apartments as we are new immigrants, the location was just great.

1. The hot water in the shower was just extreme. Even if we turned on cold water, hot water continued and at very high temp 2. In the advert, it mentioned the room had tumble dryer but there was none

So centrally located, great value for money! Staff was very nice, cleaning staff were ver accommodating. Love having a kitchenette and an actual bedroom with a door to separate the living areas. So essential with kids. It was very impressive to notice many airline staff from different airlines staying there ( one of them told me that their airline has been using the hotel for years). Usually airlines only send their people to safe, clean hotels.

I had read this comment elsewhere, but it is true, the bathtub doesn’t drain properly. It’s kind of gross.

Location great, size of suite excellent, exercise room good likes having a kitchenette

Kitchen a little under equipped, we didn’t have a kettle, no dish drainer, no dishwasher, better selection of cooking knives, no mixing bowls, just one small cooking pot. Bathtub didn’t drain well. For an eco hotel, there should have been at least one bin for garbage and one for recycling in every suite. There were also notices saying that if we didn’t want towels laundered daily, to just hang them up again - which we did. They were taken away the first day. Our other two nights were fine.
