Hotel Mortagne

Beautiful modern facility. Lobby is welcoming, clean, and front desk staff seem well trained for hospitality, all around a very professional feeling operation.

Bed was too firm for me. This was the 8th bed I slept in over the course of a 14 day trip, and by far the hardest. I'd go so far as to say it was comparable to the foam tile mats on my gym floor! Great linens though! Although the facility is beautiful, we found it slightly overpriced for the area, quite removed from everything. Problaby better suited for people looking to take in the whole spa experience offered on site.

Our stay was great, very comfortable.

Was a bit different having the shower in the open in the room. Thankfully, it was just my spouse and I this time without the kiddos 😳 lol. Also, a little note or something in the room and/or hallways to indicate where ice, laundry, pool, etc, were located would be helpful. (I didn't notice the markings in the elevator until after asking 🤦‍♀️)

The front staff is exceptional, no other words capture the professional and courteous way we were treated. Our waitress for my birthday dinner at the hotel restaurant made some great recommendations and the meal was amazing. Had a great time, loved the facilities.

Those pillows are weird, sorry. Some kind of synthetic duvet that squishes down to nothing under your head. Might be personal preference.

The hotel is super clean and modern. The pool table at the lobby was a great amenity that my whole family enjoyed so much. The swimming pool was not crowded at all. Great atmosphere!!

There was only one staff member at the front desk in the evening. She was on the phone taking a reservation for half an hour, and three families were waiting to check in including us.

Lobby area was comfortable and featured some swing chairs, which was a nice touch. We were there for an event at the adjacent conference centre so it was extremely convenient but it would be a little far out for a visit to downtown Montreal. There are several ok restaurants about ten mibutes walk away.

Surrounding area is unattractive and basically off-highway sprawl. Breakfast was at best mediocre (food not service, which was good). Restaurant was closed at night - not a problem in September but maybe not so good if it were January or February

It was frequently suggested by my area clients to stay at the Hotel Mortagne on my visits in the area, but I was loyal to other facilities across the highway in the past. By coincidence, I chose to stay at this hotel and was very pleasantly surprised. This is a real hotel, as opposed to simple Inns and the king-bedded room on the 6th floor was found to be quite large; well appointed with windows the full width of the room. The location is easily accessible from A-20 and there are a number of great restaurants within walking distance. There is plenty of parking on the property as well. The Hotel Mortagne also boasts its own restaurant with inside and outside dining, as well as a bar. The staff is friendly and bi-lingual, yet very professional. I shall stay here again in the future.

Pillows were to flat and mattress too hard for my opinion No one carries your luggage Cleaning service is not offered daily but if you want an extra towel the front desk provides that

It was very modern and clean and bright . Great location and fair price for a friday of a long weekend.

Would have loved breakfast included. The pool was a bit too cold and the hot tub could have been warmer .( nothing really to complain about ) But was still good.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. The room was nice and clean, and quiet. It was close to everything I needed.

The water in the shower is very hot and difficult to regulate . I think it's shared plumbing, the pressure went down several times during shower and it got cold then very hot. Its my second stay there in last 6 months. I thought it was just an issue with my room last time.

It was very convenient, located perfectly to where we needed to be! Plenty of free parking space as well. Beautiful establishment, very modern and classy. It was very, very clean.

I liked everything about the property, but it would’ve been nice if there were more food choices at the lobby or a vending machine in the building.
