Breakfasts were exceptional. Parking was convenient. Hosts were on site and eager to help. Beds and bedding and towels were lovely. Kitchenette was useful and well stocked. Easy walk to Tom Patterson Theater, a bit of a hike to the Festival Theater. Nearby walk along the river to a sweet park with benches. Comfortable deck above a quiet back yard.

We were in the loft, where angled ceilings were a bit of a problem, as expected. Less furniture could make the loft feel roomier -- BUT we enjoyed two seating areas, kitchen table, barstools, armoire, easy chair. Shower products were a bit awkwardly placed, bottles too large, shelving too high. Kitchenette would have used a couple of sets of silverware, and bathroom needed a couple of unbreakable glasses. Traffic noise can be heard if windows are open.

Breakfast was excellent - nutritious selections and very tasty. Comfortable breakfast room. Location is ideal for walking to all theatre venues. Very handy and private parking. Fridge and coffee maker in the room with excellent decaf coffee. Hosts are charming and made us feel totally comfortable. Offered lots of helpful advice about food and shopping access in town. Plus they are foodies.

The bed in the Cherry Rose room is a bit squeaky and tired. But after two shows a day so were we!! So not a problem.

Breakfast was exceptionally good.

I did not like the breakfast room. There was no daylight. Both windows were covered. I would even like to have the breakfast in the garden or outside. It is probably not possible in this house. I would like to get blueberry muffins as the last course, not the first.

Location was within walking distance of all theatres, great restaurants and in a very nice area. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Accommodations were clean, comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful as well. A great stay and we would come back.

Lovely hosts, great breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade muffins and main course of frittata with ham. Service and presentation were top-notch. We had the loft apartment which was beautifully decorated, spacious (would have been very comfortable for a family of 4) and included a balcony. Walking distance to everything. Great suggestion for supper and host phoned and made reservations for us. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location and very comfortable bedrooms and good breakfasts each day. Hosts were very friendly and helpful in providing recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Stayed in the 3rd floor room, which was quite spacious with a balcony and small kitchen area.

Our Stratford plays were at the Tom Patterson theatre which is just across the river (a 5 minute walk). The old house has been beautifully refurbished but retains the big windows and lovely staircase. Our room had a comfortable bed, large private bathroom. The breakfast was prepared by the owners, who are excellent cooks, and served with style.

Our host served a thoughtfully created nutritious breakfast that was beautifully presented with good coffee and lots of it. Definitely exceeded our expectations! We appreciated that our room and the common breakfast room was very clean and tastefully decorated.

Would have been nice to have a sitting area in their back garden away from street traffic.

Tracey and Darrell are lovely, interesting people in a lovely house with a lovely garden in a great location — which should give the impression that I am one happy camper. They care about your comfort. Breakfasts were sumptuous and, into the bargain, well-balanced. How’s that for superlatives?

Breakfast was exceptional. Started with homemade muffins, followed by fresh fruit and yogurt, followed by omelette, sausage and English muffin. No need for lunch after that breakfast. Coffee just kept coming too!

The bedroom was a bit warm, perhaps the central air was a bit too high? But, we managed.
