Wonderful place to stay. So much better than a motel! As others have commented, the breakfast was fantastic, served in an old fashioned dining room on china. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. They even took my gluten free request into consideration. Great coffee, OJ, and wonderful French toast. Our room was lovely and the bed was comfortable, with one of the better, or maybe the best, mattress we slept on during our last two weeks of travel. It was nice to open the door of our "terrace room" and view the beautiful and large garden. Parking was easy on the street, but they also had a driveway that others were able to use. You could walk to the falls from there or from one of their other similar properties, which is a great advantage since parking at the Falls is either expensive or at a distance.

The room was clean. Garden was beautiful - a lot of hard work to keep it up! Location was perfect for where we needed. Walking distance to a great restaurant - Kasbah. The tub was wonderful for relaxing after walking all day! They even had 2 little rubber ducks you could float around in the tub! Everything from inside the house to outside in the garden was very eclectic with so much to look at and admire. Learned a bit of the history of the house and David even gave me a small hosta from his garden!

We did get the last room available for our dates - so it was tiny, but still very functional. The tv in the room could be larger - the spot could accommodate a larger tv. The owner did ask about any allergies, which was amazing - but no instructions on where to go for breakfast. We stood outside for about 5 minutes (listening to someone complaining on the phone standing in the middle of the hall where one would go to the dining room for breakfast). The next morning we had to direct another guest to the dining room - so clear instructions on the breakfast card might help others.

I loved the vintage deco. The voxy feeling of home away from home. And I slept so well. I liked the privacy of an onsuite bathroom. I also loved having the lovely breakfasts staff prepared in the beautiful dining room. It was beautifully decorated , bright, warm. I would stay there again. My entire 3 day, 2 night stay was really comfortable and pleasant indeed.

The city of Niagara appears to collect an extra tax to tourists which they only spend on the downtown core. This tax should be distributed fairly to include residential neighborhoods as this one as well and assist them in making the entire city beautiful.

Checkin and checkout was super easy. The home and furnishings were absolutely beautiful..Victorian throughout. We stayed in the Shirrifs tower.huge room with a small foyer snd adjoining bathroom .. absolutely thrilled with the double jacuzzi tub. The wine glasses were a thoughtful touch, as well as the mini- fridge and microwave in the shared hallway. Breakfast was amazing.Fresh Fruit cocktail, home baked warm muffins , jams and jellies and scrumptious French toast.All served in Victorian china:) The dining room's wood paneling, trim and furniture were exquisite! The hosts were very friendly . It was a delight to hear them share the local history of the home and the wedding / fashion museum. Great conversation with the other guests. We and some other guests arrived late ( time change affect:)) and the hosts were very accommodating. The whole stay was relaxing.We felt at home 🏡 This location is a few blocks from a plaza with grocery store and restaurants.

The king bed was very comfortable. If the linens could be upgraded to a higher thread count cotton and a nice duvet it would've been the icing on the cake Also, my husband said I'm too picky..but next time the rooms cleaned if you can check the corners beside the wall recessed dresser. Other than that, the room was nice and clean.

It was so incredibly quiet...it was great...we shut off the tv at 11pm and never heard a sound after that....so peaceful and the bed was awesome....the pillows were too. I always remember a great sleep and this owner will see us again when we go to Niagara Falls. And David was a gracious host with a tasty healthy breakfast. The whole home is filled with old antiques and pictures to look at and the various rooms are nicely decorated. We were in the Gardenview Suite which was on the second floor. The Shirriffs Tower Suite and the blue room were also on that floor. There are two other rooms on the main floor which are great for people with mobility issues. Their bathrooms are right across the hall from their rooms but that floor is secured overnight so no one else is walking by anyways and the bedrooms are soooo lovely....oh my!! No one will be disappointed at all. No need to worry.

Loved this place, it was like being in the 1890s with all the antiques in the house. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was extremely clean and had a good bath/shower. The breakfast was good quality and was a great time to meet other guests. The location was good and only 20 mins walk to the falls. It is a quiet part of town, so a really good alternative to the "Las Vegas" feel next to the falls. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

We really loved our stay here, it felt like stepping back in time and staying in a castle! The decor was very regal and quaint, the garden was so cute, and the breakfast was delicious and included drinks, fruits, a muffin and a hot meal! I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone wanting to go to Niagara Falls, staying here was honestly the highlight of our trip, and the hosts were so friendly!

The bed and breakfast is about a 25 minute walk from the falls, but it was worth it.

The breakfast was good. The rooms were beautiful. The garden was wonderful The location was fine it’s just that the rest of the neighborhood is in need of love and repair.

Niagara Falls is a very sad and impoverished city. It looks very rough from what I could see. My friends stated the jacuzzi was dirty and were disappointed they were unable to use it. A general good cleaning needed to be done everywhere in the bedroom. The air conditioner was too close to the bed and therefore too noisy. They both did not sleep well The grey door looked unsightly when the door to the room was closed It is challenge to keep a large home like this picture perfect. My room was great. My friend’s room just wasn’t.

The place is just gorgeous! Victorian style house, extremely detailed in the decorations, great mattress, spacious and bright room, private bathroom, everything extremely clean, I felt like a king. Breakfast was provided and delicious (fresh fruit, French toast, juice, coffee, tea). Classic music was played in the dining room in the background, very relaxing. Location was good, quiet neighborhood, 15 min walking to the falls. Highly recommend this place!

The rooms were really great looking and a throwback to the 1920's-30's? The gardens are top notch - you'll think you're walking through a professional botanical gardens. These guys really know what they are doing. From the variety of plant species to the nifty ornaments - it all goes together.

Although the rooms are really great looking and cozy, they really could have used a bar fridge. I realize there's a communal bar fridge but - it happened to be full of other guest's food/drink. That was a disappointment, but we rectified it with a bag of ice in our cooler.
