Comfort Inn Hamilton/Stoney Creek

Location is excellent, breakfast was good - perhaps more fruit options or instant oatmeal (sorry if I missed it) It would be good if we could pick up the night prior items for a breakfast in room - for instance, instant oatmeal, fruit, muffins, yogurt. Picking up your breakfast the night before helps reduce the congestion in the breakfast area (especially with health concerns and Covid still present); and allows the guest to get some extra sleep when they need that. With a microwave and coffee in room, It's easy to get hot water and warm up a muffin for instance.

This is a very pleasant place to stay. It is comfortable, friendly, clean, and convenient to the QEW highway. I wish there were more hotels like this one. I'm tired of paying a fortune for the illusion of luxury. I had a good sleep here and a good breakfast provided by the hotel as part of the price - how often does that happen these days? I will also add that the staff were exceptionally friendly, in particular a young woman with red hair who welcomed us when we arrived.

Breakfast was very good. Lots of variety from Waffles to bacon and eggs. Beds were comfortable and very clean sheets. Plenty of condiments of coffee and tea in the room.

Found the waste baskets were not emptied the first night. The bath tub was quite slippery, needed to be very careful. You need safety bars in the tubs for the elderly and the bed was squeaky.

The room was beside a private room and each time someone is using the washer or dryer, the sound vibrates through the wall of our room. The construction or maintenance company parked their vehicle in our parking spot (adjacent to our room) overnight. As a result, we were not able to park our own vehicle in that spot. And we had to drag 6 large suitcases many feet away because we lost our assigned parking spot.

the particular room I was in the internet sucked tried telling the house staff they gave me a number to call. come to think about it I’m still waiting for a return call on it but last day it worked fine lol

The breakfast was tasty, Scrambled eggs, bacon, english muffins, waffles, yogurt, cereal, muffins.

The breakfast room set up was awful. People were standing 3 deep, the tiny room was teaming with bodies. Food is located in a tiny area and should be on the long wall to avoid the surge of people.

The breakfast and the location was great for us.

The king bed was not as comfortable as the bed in the room we were in from March 25-28. if you touched the side of the bed it squeaked and when you moved while sleeping it would also squeak.

The room was nice, clean, quiet, had a comfortable little couch, comfortable bed. Only thing we would have liked would be a clock in the room. The breakfast was very nice way to start the day with fresh fruit, cereal, toast and muffins,fresh juice, etc and a great waffle machine. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very friendly.

The night time lady at the desk was great helping me with what was open for food and shopping. The lady that ran the kitchen was great kept everything fresh and filled up. The lady that cleaned my room was great asking if I needed anything.

Room was a good size and bed was soooo comfy. Was awesome to have a microwave and fridge.

The area isn’t the greatest.. would expect Alittle cheaper due to the area. Doors are very load when they close. Was woken up early when other people were leaving their rooms.
