The staff were very accommodating. The room was very nice

The cleaning of the room and changing of the towels was only once per week. The reason was a shortage of staff. As the hotel was fully booked they simply could not keep up

Microwave and cutlery are great additions! Gave us voucher for taxi ride from airport.

Bowls would have been useful.

Housekeeping staff were excellent. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. A chair was set part way down the hallway for me if I needed it after knee surgery. Thank-you

I had 2 communication requests I passed along to front desk to be pass along to housekeeping. These could have been followed up with me, in a timely manner instead of being ignored until the I approached the housekeeping staff directly. Not sure where the lack of communication exists but believe it is management responsibility to contact the guest to say what is happening and when it will be addressed. Broken glass in the kitchen apartment should not be ignored for 15 hours! Someone should have showed up with a vacuum for kitchen and carpet.

The hotel room was very nice, spacious and modern. I have zero complaints about the room or the facilities. The restaurant was also nice and prices were reasonable.

I think for the rate, a bottle of water should be included in the room. I was not happy with the hotel shuttle bus schedule as it is tied to flight arrivals/departures only, so with the few amount of flights at this airport, what is the shuttle bus doing at other times? I had business at the airport on this trip and although I don't expect any hotel to be my personal taxi, it was a bit frustrating paying for a taxi with the bus just parked there. I travel all over the world and have never been to a hotel where shuttle buses to the airport don't operate all day.

They are super easy going with early check-in! We checked in early both times and they just gave us the room - very awesome because some hotels make you wait even if the room is ready. Also, if you take a white “City Cab” from the airport, don’t pay for it because they will give you a voucher to pay for it once you arrive AND when you go back to the airport. Highly recommend!

Could offer free breakfast, but again everything was great!

Location is great. Nice to have the toaster, some odd dishes (five knives, two spoons, no forks, etc). Quiet areas away from busy cold (Feb) lobby. Comfortable bed. Taxi vouchers in place of shuttle (although had to inquire upon arrival)

Even after my first three nights (of five) and after hanging the "tidy my room" tag I had to track down Housekeeping about 4 pm to empty my garbage, etc. Fridge froze everything no matter what the setting.

I had booked 1 room with 2 queen bed without kitchen for 208cad . I called the chateau nova hotel 2 days before the checkin and requested for a room with kitchen. They changed to room with kitchen for 220cad per night. At the time of checkin they said there was no changes mentioned to a room with kitchen in my reservation. But they provided my with a room with a kitchen but the rate was 283cad per night. It costed me extra money due to the staff not maintaining record.

Rooms are spacious and clean, bed is comfortable, friendly staff. No housekeeping services r/t COVID-19 pandemic, but we get extra bath towels & bed sheets when check-in. The apartment has a pantry and laundry & dryer is an exceptional value. Very nice locations and close distance to downtown for city walk and food. The Frame Lake is just 2 minutes drive from the hotel and we can see the beautiful northern lights at night.

The parking lot is like an unfinished dirt road & covered with gravels. It was pretty mess.

The room is equipped with a microwave, plates, cultery and dish washing detergent which was very helpful for us to have simple meals in the room. We went to see the aurora during the Easter long weekend and a lot restaurants were not open everyday then. It was overall a memorable experience since we saw the aurora and the hotel stay was very satisfactory. Location is excellent - walking distances to Independent grocery store, Shoppers Drug Mart, Prince of Wales and NWT Legislative Assembly. It's next to downtown Yellowknife and highway as well. 20-30 minutes drive to those lakes for aurora viewing, 5 minutes to the Old Town, 10 minutes to the Iced Road, 10 minutes to the old airport area and 10 minutes to the airport. The room was very spacious and clean. Beds were comfy. Wifi was good. I was able to have some online meetings during our stay. I will definitely book this hotel gain if I go back to see the northern lights.

Maybe some bowls in addition to the plates and cutlery.

Room was very clean, as were the halls and lobby. Beds were very comfy. All staff were very friendly. Room service food and staff were EXCELLENT!

Honestly I forgot that I asked for a quiet room, but we certainly didn't get one. We were right beside a stairway so often heard people in the stairs or at the elevators. Worse was the rowdy guests directly above us. Up at 6am banging and thumping, and then loud loud loud after 10pm. I did not complain because I couldn't be bothered to move rooms after the stressful flight we had been on, but we could hear way too much through the ceiling including the phone ringing, toilet flushing, and parts of their conversations.
