The pool and hot tub were really dirty compared to when I was there last. Green slime on the tiles above water

Cleanliness, nice staff, my room was studio, coffee/tea/hot chocolate/boiling water available 24/7. I liked the breakfast, except for the same omelettes and sausages repeated every day. The rest of the breakfast was fine: Philadelphia cheese, butter, yoghurts, milk, cream, fruit, honey and jam. I especially liked the quick pancakes👍🏻. There was a swimming pool, the cost of which was included in the stay, the reception provided pool towels. My kids and I loved going there every day of our stay.

For breakfast there were the same omelettes and sausages every day, the rest of the breakfast was fine. Sometimes the hallway stinks of cannabis smoke from guests, but we didn't have that smell in our room

The staff was amazing so friendly and helpful ,if you needed something or had a question they were right on top of it I love all the new updates since days in has taken over I was there in 2014 when it was still the colonial reminded me of a hotel from a horror movie but not now it's so bright beautiful smells nice in there..

I didn't like that you could not enter your room from the courtyard I did not like that stuff could enter your room daily to clean it up make the beds and take away the towels I did take this issue up with house clean and I was not aware I had to put a tag on my door to keep them out. The hot tub had yellow foam in it and looked very dirty the whole entire floor around the pool was wet there wasn't a dry spot to walk on which made it very dangerous and slippery. And the bathrooms down by the pool we're very dirty and the toilets were clogged.. even though inside the hotel felt safe the outside did not it's not in the best location in Saint John you had to worry about if your car was going to get broken into or vandalized ..

Good breakfast in good location. The pool and hot tub were appreciated and the staff was helpful in resolving a problem. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and it is close to the main route North and South.

We were in the West Wing which we learned allows dogs. An owner left what was a large loud dog in his room and it was across the hall barking non stop. Owner was located came back, cursed the dog out with loud profanity then left again, and dog started in again. I requested another room and was given the keys. Dog owner came back and dog quieted down and we didn't move. Next time we go there we will request room anyplace but West wing.

Staff were very friendly. Breakfasts were great! Loved the patio off our room. Cleaning staff were wonderful. Fresh towels everyday, bed made and they will even change your sheets if you leave the card on your pillow. Tea coffee hot chocolate available all hours. In the bathroom it would be helpful if you had a shelf over the toilet. Lots of parking

Pool and hot tub need some tlc. Needs painting. Also one if the showers in pool area was missing a handle. Only 1 shower was working.

I've never been to SJ before so I realized this location isn't walking distance to Uptown at this time of year once I got there. My mistake. Staff were great and I was impressed with how clean the interior of the building is especially when you can tell from the outside it's an older building.

Hot tub was pretty foamy but still welcome after a long day of driving! Suggest telling guests at check-in that they need to ask for towels at the front desk for the pool so they know before getting into swim gear.

not enough tables for breakfast guests. perhaps have guests pick a time at checkin to make more organized. breakfast room garbage was overflowing, needs more frequent changing. our sheet and one pillow had large black stain; didn’t bother calling the front desk as it was late and didn’t want the interruption.

Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom, floors and furniture was modern. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great location. You can walk to uptown easily from here if you don't mind a little bit of hill. Bus station is in walking distance if you have minimal luggage. Taxi to uptown was inexpensive.

The pool area was a bit out of date and not kept as clean as the rooms.

first of all the stars who is extremely accommodating they were able to help me at any time with any issue I had Weatherby letting me put the deposit on my credit card and pay my room in cash which no other hotels usually would help like that… The rooms are an amazing craze. Extremely clean they have smart TVs and the staff I don’t even know where to start to give them do justice because words cannot explain how amazing the staff was

I’d like to give acknowledgement to the front desk off member Curtis Phillips. amazing employee help me with everything I needed during my stay and even outside of work I saw him one day at the convenient store and even in that type of environment he still was willing to help if I needed it… This man deserves a promotion or a raise because being a hockey mom and all the hotels we’ve stayed in from that for the last eight years… Curtis definitely stands out to our family as an amazing front desk worker.

We stayed there in the summer. The staff is exceptional. It’s a nice enough hotel with a decent pool and located close to where we needed to be.

Hot tub could have been cleaner. Did bother with it. Our 2nd door to the outside area had a few spots where light was squeaking through. Other than that it was a fine stay. Nothing major out of the norm.
