Days Inn by Wyndham Fredericton

We were pretty underwhelmed when we checked in and got to our room, but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The dated decor might not work for some people, but for me it reminded me of childhood trips. When we got breakfast in the morning we were shocked at how lively the hotel was! Staff was very attentive, keeping food stocked for the huge crowd. The breakfast was very basic, but perfect for the price we paid for the room, especially considering that breakfast at a restaurant can hit $80 for 2 people these days. After staying in various hotels across NB and NS over this past week, this was the best experience we had. This Days Inn felt like a family-run establishment where the owners actually care about getting things done right. I think there was a promotion on the price for the night and that delighted us after paying $400/night in Halifax for the most barebones hotel we have ever experienced (that's another story!) If we weren't just passing through, we really would have wanted to go in the pool.

The parking lot is chaotic and difficult to navigate in a mid-sized SUV, however I think the hotel was totally booked up for the night.

I chose Days Inn instead an AirBnB (that would have been more conveniently located downtown) is that Days Inn has a pool. I had a pleasant swim each evening, as well as a soak in the hot tub which is all I hoped for from the hotel, so I was pleased. The bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was great and consistently warm water. The mini fridge was a good size for storing drinks and snacks.

Cosmetic wear throughout the hallways. Scum on the pool tiles just above the water line. The TV just provides cable and no ability to receive casting from a phone.

I thought for the price it was excellent. We had three beds and one bed had its own room. Nice if someone needs privacy. The gym was small with no weights. There was a small pool inside and a big one outside. Staff was amazing. Everyone was so nice. Special thanks to the man that helped me and my daughter with us waffles. As I was leaving I asked if there was any coffee and they brought me in the back and allowed me to heat up my travel cup for free! The breakfast was great. Waffles ,scrambled eggs ,sausage some fruits. Lots of different breads and cereal!

Property was alittle dated, but that wasn’t a big deal. One thing at night I could hear a small humming noise from the room with the single bed. We had room 215. It wouldn’t have even noticed except it would go in then shut off. This would only be an issue if you are a very light sleeper.

We loved stopping in for the night on our way to Nova scotia. The kids said they wanted to stay longer. The breakfast was a plus and the kids got to make there own waffles with help from staff and everything tasted great. We were impressed with the 2 pools and hot tub. Our stay in quebec was not as good where pool times were limited and breakfast came In a cold box like a factory line . So days inn was great and friendly and treated us like friends . We will be staying again on our way home. And will come again in the future . We have already recommended it to others.

Our only complaints about the room/property was the hotel definitely gave off a more dated motel type vibe, reminiscent of The Shining haha. Also, the bathroom in our room had an aggressively loud fan that was unfortunately directly attached to the light of the bathroom so there was no way of turning it off. This made it a little annoying during the night and early hours of the morning trying not to wake each other up. The hair dryer in the bathroom was also unable to sit in it’s holder at all, nor did it function.

Its an ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers. upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff who were friendly and efficient. The room was clean with all the necessary amenities like flat-screen TV, coffee maker, mini-fridge and microwave. The bathroom was sparkling clean and the towels and toiletries provided were of excellent quality. I worked at hotel before and from my experience I definitely recommend and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Fredericton.

The Hotel is not newly build but location and surrounding availability compensate what I needed. I did not pay for five star hotel so I was not expecting to high anyway.

We were very pleasantly surprised with our stay at this Days Inn. It’s very conveniently located at the centre of the city, but still in a quiet and easily accessible area. Our room was absolutely lovely, very clean and comfortable, and with hardwood floors, which was gorgeous. Our favourite part of the stay was definitely the breakfast; we were expecting plain continental food, but it ended up being quite a delicious hot breakfast that we all greatly enjoyed. Would highly recommend this hotel for all travellers

There’s no elevator in the facility, so you may have to climb a set of stairs if your room is on the second floor.

The room was very clean, had a comfortable bed with nice sheets and lots of pillows, nice toiletries in the shower, very friendly shower, breakfast food was good. I also loved how there was a door outside near the parking lot. It made it really easy to unpack.

The breakfast room was very crowded. The first time we went they didn’t have any seats at all. We got ready and came back and we managed to get a seat but there were very few.

Rooms themselves were very nice - clean, modern and spacious. Was pleasantly surprised by spa tub in the room. Decent location close to downtown.

Location is close to major traffic thoroughfare, so road noise was more than desired. Rooms themselves not very well insulated against sound from other guests or staff. A/C did not appear to be working properly. While rooms were clean and modern, common areas were very dated and worn.

Breakfast is okay. The sausage served was bland. My daughter loves the pancake. We just expected it to be the same as the Days Inn in Moncton. We asked if there was even one complimentary water bottle, and the receptionist said the water in the faucet was safe to drink. Smh We like the toiletries, no need to ask for bf extra since it was on dispenser type.

Open balcony. There is a guy walking around
