Colonial Inn

I didn't have breakfast there as I was usually on the road to helping to get ready for my late brother's estate sale in Sandy Lake. The room was a handicapped room that allowed my senior cat, I am handicapped so the grab bars were perfect. Staff was accommodating and very helpful. my only regret i that the hot tub and pool were not available due to maintenance for 6 days that I was there, which I found strange.

The staff were super friendly and helpful.

For some reason, the hot tap water in our room had a strong, brownish, yellowish tint to it. The cold tap water didn't have this issue. Are there heavy metals or some other contaminant in their water heater??? It left us concerned. We had to stick to drinking from store bought water bottles and avoided the tap water as much as possible. Everything else about our stay was great. It was just the tap water issue that was concerning. It's not really a deal breaker at the end of the day - just don't drink the tap water and you'll be fine.

Super polite and friendly and helpful at check in. Older and dated decor BUT ULTRA CLEAN, super comfortable bed with a cozy duvet, spotless bathroom. fluffy white towels, lots of hot water for a bath AND shower, secure outer doors (need room key to enter building), good basic breakfast with fresh waffles, drinks, cereals, toast, eggs and sausage, plenty to get you going on your trip and hold you until lunch.

The staff are friendly and courteous . And they smile and the rooms were clean and the bedding was clean .

The eggs were not fresh and there was not much of an assortment. No dry cereals I do not eat wheat. And with the eggs rubbery. There was nothing other than juice that I could have not even some fresh fruit. When the word continental is used . And I was one of the first. To get the breakfast there just was not a selection

My room was comfortable and clean. I like the location because there are a lot of restaurants close by. My room was very quiet and I didn't notice any traffic noise whatsoever.

The bathroom was small but did serve the purpose it was intended for. The dining room seemed a little worn and aged. I hope the pool is open soon.

The room was small but cozy! The heat worked! The bed was so comfortable and it had a couch which our doggie really liked. We were so happy for pet friendly! The location of our room was great for our dog and my husband who has mobility issues! Breakfast room was good.

The outside of the building could use some attention. It is very aged.

Despite the exterior the room was very nice. It was large, clean and renovated. Only the bathroom and carpet still need updating. The bed was comfy, sheets and comforter were clean and new. Water pressure in the shower was very good. Hot breakfast had a lot of choice with waffles, eggs, sausage, toast etc.

The exterior, lobby, hallways and bathroom are very outdated and grubby. When we arrived we thought the hotel was a dump and didn't want to stay. The owners need to renovate the building's exterior.

The front staff were friendly and helpful. The location is in an area close to a sports facility, and has plenty of restaurants to chose from.

The pool was closed. There was no reason offered - just that it was closed.

Clean, very comfortable beds, good TV, good breakfast

As an 80 year old I am used to the raised three toilets seats in my home. With arthritis, it's very hard getting down and then getting up from the traditional toilet seat.

i stayed there 1 night in Sept 2021 with my wife. Hotel was located at a very convenient location. It was clean. I need a remote to operate my Cable device connected to room TV HDMI port. Hieu at reception helped me arranging a different remote. He was very friendly and helpful. BF was good, grab & Go due to covid. We had it in our room. if i ever go back to Brandon, will definitely stay in this hotel.
