Very warm welcome and helpful staff throughout; nothing was too much trouble. They seemed to take pride in their work and their hotel. The laundry room was very welcome and cheap to use. The gym was clean and all the machines were functional. We were expecting a simple breakfast, so were very pleasantly surprised by the range and quality of food available. Our room was at the back of the hotel, so there was no road noise Nearly next door was a visitor centre with enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff who gave us tips on where to go in Valemount and what to see during our onward journey.

Nice hotel to either stay overnight between Rocky Mountains and Vancouver area or to just stay a couple of days to explore the area. Well maintained room. Many amenities including swimming pool and gym which we unfortunately were not able to use due to time constraints. The breakfast has a wide variety and is quite nice in comparison to other hotels in Canada and US; and it is complementary.

Price is a bit a the higher side during the summer season but better than some other similar hotels in the neighboorhoud. There is no restaurant closeby (walking distance I mean).

The front desk clerk, Tess (Tessie) was amazing. Very friendly, helpful and professional. She is a great asset to your staff. the Breakfast went well beyond my expectations, a great variety and delicious food. Good Job! The bed was very comfy and the room large. All the accessories included, excellent. We were offered any additional accessories ( shampoo, conditioner, towels, ect) from the chamber lady. We had asked for a top floor quiet room and were given just that. Much Appreciated.

The Bathroom could use a little maintenance. The price was bit high.

How clean and new it is! The staff is also very friendly, always greeting us with a smile and even went the extra mile of turning on the lights in the breakfast room for us to take pictures when we arrived in the evening. The facilities are also tidy and great with clear signage telling us where they are. My family enjoyed the pool, the water slide, the hot tub, the exercise room, and the golf simulator! The breakfast that was included had lots of food choices!

Check-in was a bit slow (had to wait for the receptionist to check on the rooms). There could have been a note about needing to turn the knobs for the timer to turn on the water jets for the hot tub jacuzzi and water slide. The label for the hot tub jacuzzi water jets could have been labelled better instead of just “water”.

New property, clean, comfy beds, good pillows, good free wifi, enough bathroom counter space, spacious walk in shower. Quite quiet too (only muffled hallway noise). Included full breakfast (bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, etc) had good selection, and enough floor space that multiple people could get at things. Overall exceeded my expectations for a Comfort Inn. Makes Valemont a viable stopover for our annual Vancouver to Edmonton trip.

Weird lighting master switch that was only control for a couple celing lights, but also killed the bathroom light. Annoying for middle of the night bathroom trip (for us old people).

We stayed during our travels from Canmore / Jasper to Vancouver. The hotel was fully booked the night we stayed, but everything was well organised. Friendly staff, and we had an enormously big room and bathroom with the 5 of us. Very clean, nice central location next to restaurants / gas stations / fast food. Loved the pictures from the area which were displayed in the hotel.

Nothing - the hotel was really as expected!

The front desk staff we interacted with were kind and welcoming. The hotel was nice and quiet. The room was very comfortable, larger than expected with a beautiful view, had lots of options on the television for my young children, and had a nice deep bathtub. The pool and hot tub were a great addition. The breakfast was much more than expected (eggs, sausages, bacon, hasbrowns, waffles, cereal, breads/muffins) and I was very impressed with the number of labeled gluten free and vegan options.

Very Minor - I had called ahead to ensure the hottub was open and when we arrived it was closed for some maintenance. This is unavoidable but was disappointing. However a staff member helped to ensure we could use it for a short time in the morning which was much appreciated!

The staff were excellent, very helpful. There was no electric kettle in the room but we got one easily from the front desk. The room was clean, nice, and comfortable. Bright lights in the bathroom and big enough space to open all our luggage. Requested to change our room to a king suite after we booked and they kindly did it for us. :) Heating was already on when we checked in, which was really nice considering the cold outside. Stunning views all around. Breakfast was self-served, with waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausages, hashbrown, a selection of cereals, and different types of bread. Appreciate the wide selection of tea! Great view of the mountains from the dining area as well. Don't quite understand the use of disposable utensils and cutlery though. Seems really wasteful.

The staff was incredible - our boys were up very early due to the time change (we’re from BC) and were at the pool at 6am. There was a sign specifically stating that the water slide was not open until 6:30pm, however the kind concierge popped in and asked if we’d like the water slide turned on for us! Big points there :)

Recognizing that we stayed the night of July 1 so it was bound to be expensive, we did find the price quite costly. We wouldn’t make a different decision based on this factor though and are very happy with our experience overall.

Good value! Extras like a plastic Blue Box for recycling; nightlight in the bathroom; tea bags and coffee in the room; great free breakfast with waffles, eggs, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, fresh fruit.

The landscaping!!! All rock landscape is ok but weeds growing up through them were unattractive. please put effort into this, hire a gardener or get employees to address the weed issue. It makes the hotel have a slightly abandoned look although it is obviously a new building.
