Paradise Motel

The location is about a 10 minute walk to the beach friendly attentive staff . Nice family and friendly atmosphere! Great bbq area with 4 bbqs , an outdoor pool ! Everything you’ll need is walking distance ! Our dogs were welcome and the air conditioning was AMAZING ! You can really tell the family takes pride in their business !

Beds could use an update, however they’re clean ! They’re doing many renovations to improve the motel , new RV sites ect so I’m sure that will come with time .

The parking was right outside my door. The kitchenette was well-appointed and much appreciated. The barbeque area was also very thoughtful and I used it to cook up some steaks the first night. This is a motel and you should have the expectations of such going in and you will not be disappointed.

The floors in my unit were quite dirty despite being vacuumed. My feet were quite black after walking around in the evening. The air-freshener spray used in the rooms was exceptionally potent. Luckily there were some windows I could open so that was helpful. A suggestion would be to put sheers on the windows as well as the blackout curtains so that people walking by the windows can't just peep on you while you are watching TV or cooking. When I was there, the pool heater wasn't working properly so the pool was very cold which was disappointing. All that being said, my expectations were still met because I knew what I was booking and got what I was needing for my stop in Sicamous.

I loved the spacious rooms, the size of the Fridge and the POOL - the BBQ's and picnic tables, the location and the people were nice overall

What could have been better was the coffee maker, I did not want to even use it The fridge took a full day to get cold for our drinks and food, but it did eventually work well - and I wish there was a microwave

Staff were wonderful. I was not feeling well and phoned ahead to request a quiet room. I had the best sleep of my entire trip. Quiet location. tons of pillows.

Although the areas that you expect to be clean were, like sinks, toilets, beds, the walls were grimy, coffee splattered against cupboards, door frames dirty. If more attention were paid to making sure these areas were clean, I would have given a higher score. it made me wonder the actual condition of blankets etc.

Kids enjoyed outdoor pool. Walking distance to local stores and restraunts. Good parking for vehicles with trailers. Bigger rooms with pullout couches and extra beds. Super friendly staff, layed back setting.

Beds were older and springy, only shampoo left in room. Seemed abit pricey for the room but with it being a tourist community I understand.

First of all, the location was great, and the view from the room was breathtaking. The staff was very kind, helpful, and friendly. The size of the bedroom was quite impressive and the bed was very comfortable.

I don't think I can point out anything which I didn't like. Everything was good and exceeded my expectations. I could just say the weather was very cold if it would have been hot I could have enjoyed it more.

Location was convenient to get to. Check in staff was friendly & professional. Mattress was super comfortable and the heating was super cozy. Room & bathroom were clean. Amazing coffee. Staff was always helpful with anything I needed in a timely manner. I went for a walk and the area was super friendly & felt safe.

Not much, maybe the fridge already being turned on would have been great and I am not sure it was that cold after a few hours on but probably a bit. Some shampoo would have been great but luckily I had some.

Just A Great Motel!! Breakfast at A & W or cook in room. Loved the 3 working Bbq,s. I would Stay hear again for sure. Six days went so fast, Next time I book this Motel will be for ten days or more. Loved this Place Thanks Paradise Owner & Staff. Ross & Sharon Stay Well Thanks Again

Suite was a great size with 2 beds, one in a private bedroom which was wonderful for our child. It had a kitchenette with the basics for cooking and cleaning. Staff was more than accommodating; helpful and friendly. Price was exceptional for the shuswap. Perfect stay, we will be back :)
