The Canterbury Inn of Downtown Invermere

From the get-go, our stay was most enjoyable. The manager was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was perfect for our family, with 3 comfortable beds and kitchen facilities. The location is great, right downtown Invermere. I would and will stay here again, and highly recommend it to fellow travellers. Thank you again to the manager and staff for excellent friendly service.

Great location! Staff were friendly! A neighboring room locked the door to the main hallway, so we had to get ahold of staff at late hours just to be let in (we couldn't open the door even though we had a key). Instantly, the front staff let us in and by morning there was a note asking other tenants to not lock the door - even though this should have been obvious. I also liked that we weren't charged until check-in time.

It's an older building, so some things are a little outdated. I have stayed in nicer rooms, but I've also stayed in much, much worse rooms. It wasn't by any means dirty, but could use a few touch ups here and there. Keep in mind this is a budget-friendly Motel not a five-star luxury hotel!

Iv stayed here several times. Great Location, and the staff really make this a great place! Rooms are basic, and clean! Have everything you could need for your stay. Staff is helpful & friendly! They even called me when I left behind a cheap head hair headband! And if your like me, who prefers a Locally owned over big chain, this is the place to stay!

Nothing! Except, all the restaurants etc are closed at 9pm lol

The location was great. The lady working the front desk was awesome. Super nice and accommodating.

Everything was good. Except the bed was uncomfortable. Way too hard.

Our stay was comfortable and quiet. The room was clean and adequate for our one night stay. We were quite happy and comfortable with our stay at The Canterbury Inn.

Sleeping 2 in a queen bed, I felt that the comforter and sheets not adequately large enough for both of us, especially when turning in bed. Perhaps a size larger would be more appropriate.

This is a good old school motel, just like the kind we often stayed in on family vacations when I was a kid. Nothing fancy, but everything you need, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Location was great.

Great location to town, able to walk around the down town very easily. A few restaurants within walking distance. Good number of pillows included (4). Beds were comfortable. The TV was a decent size. Good size closet with lots of hangers.

Our room was on the second story, we had a lot of bags to carry up the stairs. Parking was tough to find on the first night but fine the rest of the nights. Outlets space was a bit hard to find at times. The included fridge was on the smaller side with basically no freezer space.

it was clean and comfy. check in was super easy and the young lady working there was super friendly and nice

nothing. it met all of my needs. it’s a simple motel with all that is required for a comfortable nights stay.

12.19.2022 - Very clean room in a quiet location with friendly staff. Conveniently located - within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Priced appropriately. I would stay there again for sure.
