Kanata Whitecourt

We always select this hotel because of 3 things: cleanliness, staff and location. The young women who work front desk should be commended. They are always cheerful and friendly, never phony or rushed, always ready to help with anything they can. Bathrooms are pristine, hallways immaculate, beds comfortable. And the location - easily accessible from highway but far back enough to be quiet - can’t be beat. As a bonus, the Esso service station right next door has great food!

When i arrived there was no one at the front desk, i waited over 5 minutes for someone to show up, called the hotel 5 times to try and get someones attention, when the staff member finally arrived he said "sorry i was in the bathroom" not fun after a very long day and just wanting to check in and have a shower, both times i returned to the lobby that evening there was no staff member to be found, i doubt he was in the bathroom again both times, probably a lazy employee slacking off doing something that they shouldnt be. Beyond that it was a very comfortable and clean room and conveinently located

The location is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean.

The hotel should disclose the fact that they are doing renovations and apparently the contractor works on Sunday mornings. The stairs being redone is great but perhaps with the hotel not being full the rooms close to these stairs and the not quiet air compressor should not be used. Being woken up by the banging then the loud compressor is not great for a Sunday morning.

We had an amazing time at the Kanata. We booked at the very last minute and had a great room with King size bed and jacuzzi. The room was super clean, towels in numbers, toiletries good quality. Staff was super nice and friendly. Breakfast was really good too.

Just one thing: we used the jacuzzi as a bathtub cause the button for bubbles didn't work. We forgot to warn the staff when we left.

This was one of the best places we stayed during our trip through Canada traveling to the lower 48 from Alaska. We were in an RV traveling with 2dogs. I contacted them ahead of time to let them know that one of our dogs had an injury. They were gracious enough to give us a room on the ground floor right next to the side door for easy in and out for our boy. They also allowed us to park our RV right outside of the door so that he didn’t have far to walk. We were provided with a nice clean doggie blanket for the bed in case any of them sleep on the bed, which our Golden does. There’s a gas station attached to the inn, so we were able to fill up and go instead of having to find one. This place is amazing with beautiful clean rooms. The staff was fantastic and we would definitely return again.

I can’t think of anything. Everything was perfect.

I liked that the hotel offered a free laundry room. The breakfast was good. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

I have nothing negative to say. The stay wad exceptional.

The bed was super comfortable, and having a sink outside of the washroom as well as inside the washroom was nice, too. I liked having a table and two chairs right in the room. Quite comfortable.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Having snacks available in the lobby..muffins etc Staff very friendly Not having to wait long for elevator. Toilettes good

Breakfast ok. Would be nice to add milk for coffee and cereal. Too crowded in early morning. Have coffee station in a separate area.

Top of the charts!... Breakfast was great...... didn't expect hot food, so that was a surprise!... Orange juice was awesome! and big cups! Never saw those before! Very quiet place! But it was late April. Will recommend to other travelers!

The Kanata is beautifully maintained. The staff are amazing and helpful. Thank you immensely for allowing us use of your conference room to watch our daughters play in Zones for volleyball. It really beats sitting in our cars streaming it on our phones!
