Holiday Inn Express - Red Deer North, an IHG Hotel

Good location Great pool Staff was very kind and helpful.

It was extremely loud at night. we understand it was a long weekend with lots of teams staying, but the noise at night was a lot. Doors slamming, people in the hallways as late at 2am and talking and yelling or playing ball. would be better to have the teams on a different floor. Very clean overall, however by Monday the pool are needed to be cleaned up. Food, discarded clothes, toys were left and wet and messy.

Location - close to the highway & nearby shopping & restaurants, comfy beds/pillows, spacious room, cleanliness, continental breakfast, fairly new hotel, friendly and helpful staff, facilities within the hotel were open.

Kids running down the hallways, kids screaming at 6am in the hallway (not so great wake up call haha), parking lot not so big - although the Sawridge Suites on the other end of the joint building had slightly more space to park - I blame the designers haha

The hotel felt modern, appealing and warm I love the room I stayed in, it felt relaxing and comfortable just by the presentation of it. I like the decor in the room, the lighting and the furniture. Bathroom was clean and looked appealing, not the ones where you just can't wait to get out of the bathroom.

Garbage collection wasn't consistent but okay. Ran out of shower gel and took a while to get a refill (expected it would have been re-filled before check in) Breakfast was quite limited and not up to the standard I expected. This is usually a major factor in selecting a hotel for me. There was no buffet breakfast and selection of food was the same every morning for 4 days.

The Holiday Inn Express North in Red Deer was close to relatives we were visiting. When we arrived, Booking.com had not informed the hotel of our reservation, but fortunately we had the confirmation to show them. The staff was very courteous with us.

Booking.com could have followed through and made our reservation with the hotel so that our reception would have been quicker and smoother.

The breakfast was the highlight and sets the hotel apart from other hotels.

While I understand it is how the economy is going, the price is significantly higher than when I was last here at Christmas time a year ago. However the services and room provided were exactly the same.

Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Rooms are clean and beds are really comfortable. Location is great. Pool and hot tub is amazing!

Nothing. Just probably need a few more afternoon and evening staff to handle check in as when we stayed it took a while before we got in.

We have stayed here multiple times and like the courtesy of the staff, the comfort of the rooms. We didn't use the amenities this time but have in the past. The pool, hot tub, and exercise room are all great.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The included breakfast and the coffee were tasty. The rooms were clean and modern.

The pool area has a small water slide and gets very noisy and busy. Parking is a bit sparse and you may need to squeeze into tight spots.

Super comfortable bed and I enjoyed the lighting that was available in the room. staff was fantastic.

The water pressure I. shower wasn’t the greatest. took a while to rinse out shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was limited and pancake machine was not working.

It was a new and clean, bedroom was spacious and modern.

The previous guess in my bedroom had set up the clack alarm and it was not reset prior our stay. It woke us up 2 times very early when we just wanted to rest.
