Travelodge by Wyndham Edmonton South

It was good little room for a couple nights, having a fridge was very nice. It was a little worn overall, but clean and comfortable. Unintentionally picked the exact right location to be near both West Edmonton Mall and Ikea. Multiple places to eat, a Superstore and a gas station all within sight or walking distance, very convenient. Wouldn't mind staying again.

I had to ask for another blanket as there was only a thin coverlet type in the room, but staff provided it happily.

The moment I arrived i was surprised by the way the property looked. It is very clean, a little dated on some things but not shabby. The staff was great and knowledgeable about the area. They also had discount for the adjacent restaurant and coupon for Boston Pizza just up the street and offered them to me immediately. Definitely be a place to go on a return visit. Great value. Bagged breakfast is at least there. Some have given up completely on any service. I have been traveling a lot and it was nice to get something.

This may sound trivial but honestly it is the only thing. The stairwell doors are the loudest closing I have ever heard. I usually get a room close to an end which usually means that I am near stairs. I wasn't bothered by it but I probably bothered someone with it since I walk often and am in and out for that and meals. I almost used the elevator...lol

Hotel is in a very nice location. The room was clean and the staff sure were friendly. I liked that the pet fee was only $10/pet/night. Although they might want to to mention on the website that there is a $100 pet deposit when you check in, and will get it back if there are no damages done to the room. We got our pet deposit back.

Some things could use an upgrade. Such as the office chair in our room. The chair was already torn and could be replaced. Also the shower head. It could be replaced or at least cleaned. As there was quite a lot of build up.

Overall, good stay, comfortable bed, clean, quiet room. Lots of businesses nearby such as restaurants, grocery store. Also hotel now has no marijuana policy in rooms where smoking is permitted. This is good news since we not longer have to endure the stink. Marijuana smokers can smoke outside.

Rubber mat was missing from tub, for some reason desk was turned around with drawer facing the wall, electrical outlet under desk overloaded, wooden side chair had scrape on one side of arm rest, paint chips on inside bathroom door need to be retouched. Hotel has bagged breakfast which I do not like. Used to have free breakfast which stopped during COVID. Time to reinstate free breakfast.

I love the location and most of the staff are very friendly.. I stay here often often there's one lady though to me sometimes really bad customer service I mean I haven't been the best guest I pay late and why not but I must say I appreciate them for doing stuff like that for me

I like the price from booking .com sadly I asked the staff if they could match the price so I could then just book with them being a platinum Wyndham member the actually say they will price match.. but for some reason the lady kept telling me to no to just book through the site then.. quite disappointed with the way she treated me

Spacious and clean room. The staff were super friendly and the location was perfect! Very close to where I wanted to be. Value for money!

The breakfast pack offered by the hotel was complimentary to all guests, but I paid a few dollars more specifically for breakfast on booking.com. If it was clearly mentioned on booking.com, I would have booked a room without breakfast as the pack was free of charge. Better information in these circumstances help!

Had a great stay at this hotel - the room was clean and comfortable, and came with a coffee-maker, mini-fridge and microwave, which was appreciated. Breakfast was provided in grab-and-go bags available at the front desk, which I thought was a great solution considering the current pandemic situation.

I did find the location of the hotel somewhat challenging to navigate as it involved traversing many multi-lane, one-way roads, so be prepared! The city centre is not within walking distance & you will want to have some kind of transportation planned. Also be aware that the elevator is currently out of order (as of July 2021) and the hotel has three floors.

The cost of the room being booked on short notice for a short period of time was well worth the money and made for a less stressful trip to the city.

The vending machine didn't work and kept change and charged card and front desk wouldn't assist in recovery of funds.

Breakfast is served in a paper bag you have a coffee maker in room but have to ask for coffee at front desk. they only clean rooms once a week as well if your staying for a few days you will not get room service. Book a pet room that is only for pets but when u get there there is an additional charge

The room was quiet and neat.

I had to go to the front desk to get breakfast. There was a queue because a guest was having an argument with the staff. We all had to wait until the argument was done before we got attended to.
