Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Suites Calgary West

Mellissa Nuno was so accommodating and easy to talk to. Great customer service!! She made sure and really helped us "forget" our unpleasant experience at the hotel, which she managed to accomplish. The morning restaurant staff were awesome too.

There was a ceiling leak at midnight, and I had to push the night staff to move us to another room. At first they were hesitant and just handed us towels and said "don't worry about it" but when the "coloured" liquid leaked even more, I had to go to the front desk to tell them to move us ASAP, even if it was at 1AM. They gave us another room, which we immediately moved into ourselves.

Breakfast was delicious. Person at desk gave us complimentary vouchers when I told them we were there while we got married, didnt expect it but made the stay very nice. Loved the little balcony attached to the room, and having a little entrance room was super nice for when people were getting ready for the wedding. Pool was so refreshing and the kids in the family loved the slide.

This was out of the staff's control, but the Hell's Angels apparently like to stay here; big group were outside revving their bikes while we put our bags on a trolley, and we noticed a member in a blatant HA jacket at the front desk before checking in. Heard a little scuffle involving broken glass outside our room at one point as well.

the staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Neheen and Riley at the front desk were exceptional. The restaurant staff our 1st night in (snowstorm had us eat in) were super friendly, food was great. Beds super comfy, rooms clean. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I chose outside of the downtown core wanting a quieter area.The hotel is right next to Olympic park. This worked against us the 1st night when Calgary was hit with a spring storm, taxi was over 1hr wait to head downtown to explore/eat. We stayed in the 1st night,next day streets were cleared so drive was totally fine to downtown and back.

good location on Hwy 1 on north side of Calgary. Lots of services nearby.Hotel is basically clean and fully functional, and there is an indoor pool and water slide, as well as a restaurant.

I'm told by staff that the place is scheduled for renovations in 2024, and agree it could use some updating.

I liked the bar. Staff were super nice. It smelt really nice when you first walk in the hotel. Very convenient location.

Room smelt musky. The bathtub wasn’t very clean. The towels were torn and some were folded but were actually dirty.

The beds were comfy. The hotel was quiet for the most part, no noise from adjoining rooms. The odd person in the hall not being as quiet as they could, but that was minor. The staff was awesome and very helpful at check-in.

The water. Calgary water is not the best from the tap. It seemed to have a moldy smell to it. There was the odd pipe rattle, particularly in the morning as people were running their showers. Pretty minor overall, but detracted from a perfect 10.

It is clean, organized, everything is there, gym, pool, restaurant. Friendly staff. Close to a fueling station and other restaurants.

The pricing is just too steep. Breakfast should at least be included with the current rate or lowered.

could hear children running all around us. that might have been because we were right next to the elevator. Bus and other vehicle traffic could be heard easily through the windows. That could have been because we were in a room facing the main highway.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Love that you welcome dogs.

The bathroom is very small, the furniture was older, there was only one side table for the bed, the sheets could use freshening(replacing). The tv was low definition.

Melissa is exceptionally helpful, she made our stay amazing, so much so that I rebooked when I discovered I needed to stay in town. Thanks again will rate another 5 starts when we leave!
