Hyatt Regency Sofia offers guests the doorway to the exclusive level of hotels without compromises. In Sofia, it seems their concept is enough to be crowned as one of the best. With its typical Hyatt qualities, lovers of the hotel chain will appreciate the offer. Yet, the hotel is among the most expensive in Sofia. Luckily, the hotel justifies the price, even though it could polish its offer in segments. Hyatt Regency Sofia is impressive and, in many ways, an excellent meeting hotel. If we were to evaluate meeting hotels according to their spa centres, then the Spa Ortus in Hyatt Regency Sofia would easily take the top. Almost 500 square metres of surface means the spa is never too crowded. On top of that, the four types of saunas work flawlessly. The cleanliness is phenomenal, and the impressive pool offers everything you can wish for. The personnel exceeds expectations on all levels. That is why we can say without a shadow of a doubt that the service is most impressive. It justifies Hyatt’s slogan: “You are more than welcome”.

When you stay in a hotel for business purposes, you expect the internet to function fast. Although registration for the Wi-Fi was straightforward, we expected higher connectivity in the age of 5G. We also did not understand the decision to leave the mini bars empty, considering the corona crisis is now behind us.

It was a great stayed to Hyatt Regency Sofia . I liked everything: Room , restaurant, bar , SPA , staffs . We really loved to eat at the restaurant, all the food was actually delicious, even the cocktails. The staffs were very nice and kind. The location is perfect . We felt very spoiled from everyone. All the facilities are super great. The bar to the rooftop was actually nice. We appreciated for everything and for sure we’ll back sooner. I really suggeste this place for having a great staying.

Restaurant staff...most of them were polite and friendly but...when people enter the place for their breakfast, it is VERY IMPORTANT that there is consistency in how they are greeted. It's possible that a staff member was distracted or busy for a moment but I had breakfast there four days in a row and I did see SOME inconsistency. In a world where people have all kinds of sensitivities it may send the wrong message if the person right in front of you gets a cheery greeting and you don't...or you sense a drop in the level of enthusiasm...especially when there are guests of different ethnicities staying at the hotel. I overheard some other guests saying the same thing! But I'm sure the staff is doing their very best overall.

High quality hotel - you get what you pay for. Room was a great size - booked through Booking but NOT given the smallest room in the hotel which was a very pleasant surprise! Quiet. Excellent gym (though really not enough room to lift the free weights!) and sauna was an excellent temperature. Bathroom fully equipped Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice, very attentive waiting staff. Couldn’t ask for more tbh.

The bed was uncomfortably hard and I’m not a fan of feather pillows as all the comfort leaves the minute you displace the feathers with your head! (Thankfully I travel with a synthetic baby (cot) pillow for this very reason!) More complimentary water on the second day of our stay was not offered.

I gave them deposit of 800lv that suppose to get charge at the end of stay, but at end of the stay my bill was around 600lv. They did not use that 800lv and cut my bill they requested to pay again another transaction. After payment they told me due the issue with card machine they will send mail to bank and I will get reimburse 800lv next day. Now is 5 day and I still did not get my money back. When I call them to ask what is status of my money they are saying they don't know need to wait more and don't know until when Very unprofesional and not organized, they are holding my extra money without any responsibility

Location in the city centre, nice, clean modern room with balcony, modern SPA area. On New Year’s day, the breakfast was until 15:00 and there was no check out time.

As it was New Year’s eve, the hotel has been preparing three separate parties. The staff was preoccupied with them and was not paying enough attention to other customers. I got wrong information about SPA and restaurant working times, twice, the mini bar in the room was empty, I asked for my room to be cleaned as I there was a broken glass, after an hour I asked for a second time and only then it was cleaned.

Breakfast is too expensive for Bulgarian standards and the cappuccino machine is low grade and of poor quality. For this price, it must be a top quality European standard expresso machine.

Two hours waiting to receive invoices upon check out. The reception staff couldn’t make the invoices for our rooms. Said that the software cannot make different invoice for each room… shame for a business hotel! I can’t imagine what would it be if we had to hurry for a flight. Nobody came to help the receptionists and to solve easily the inconvenient for us situation. I wouldn’t visit the hotel second time because of that. And there was no compensation about the horrible check out that we had.

Great room - spacious, very clean and modern.One of the best TVs we have ever seen in a hotel,the bed-I have no words to describe it,so comfortable.Location is amazing - literary everything is in walking distance.The breakfast was really great and a lot of selections!We loved that you get a daily bottles of water for free!This hotel is the best one we have been so far! Everyone was so polite and forthcoming.The spa was perfect place to go after a busy day,so relaxing and very clean facilities!Will definitely recommend to anyone!

Wellness area was wonderful. Breakfast buffet had a great variety of choices, we also enjoyed a lunch at the same restaurant. (Decor and music were also to our liking!). Very nice room, very comfortable bed/sheets. Great bath products. This was a much needed holiday and we felt very comfortable at the Sofia Hyatt.

Only disappointment was that the Rooftop restaurant was closed on Monday and had a private event on Tuesday so we were unable to go there.
